Capistrano SurfSide Inn

Very accommodating staff, good location near San Juan Capistrano, Dana Pt and San Clemente. Easy access to beach. clean, comfortable with nice amenities. While it was cool for swimming in the pool or the ocean, we enjoyed the available bikes to ride to Dana Pt Marina. Kitchen equipped and adequate for meal prep. We would stay there again when in the area.

The kitchen layout was a little awkward with frig blocking some cabinets. Double tub awkward to get in and out of.

I'm sooo picky about where I stay and the level of comfort and cleanliness I have to have....this place did NOT disappoint! The location for us was great! Easy to get to stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Right across from the beach and my son loves trains so watching the Metrolink was an added bonus! The place was very clean and comfortable. The property was a bit older, but very clean and didn't bother us at all. While we were there they were discussing updating the property. We would love to go back once renovations are done. The staff was very friendly. The only down side....we couldn't stay longer, wish we would have booked it longer!

Great communication and service from hotel staff! In such a great location to the beach and Dana Point. With my friend, we had the spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with full kitchen and living area and balcony! Comfy beds and pillows and so much room!

Had no negative experiences! Know going in that it is on the busy PCH, and you cross over safely to the beach on the pedestrian “bridge”.

Excellent location, 2 bedroom suite was roomy, very clean and comfortable. There are lots of things to do and see in the area. The Nixon President library is only 35 miles away and is well worth the drive.

The only thing that could have been better was the weather

the location is fantastic. the rooms are renovated and everything was nice and clean. they have beach cruisers, beach toys, chairs and umbrellas to use.

some of the finish work was done poorly. there aren’t locks in the bathroom doors. while the barn style doors are cute there are huge gaps so you can see right in and the door kept coming off the track

The beds could have been more comfortable. If you're going to have 2 bedrooms it would be good to have real doors seperating them rather than floating. Otherwise we hear everything from one another

The room was upgraded and it was very nice. Rooms are good size and comfortable

Common bathroom door is difficult to lock. Please change as elderly person cannot easily lock it. Master bedroom bathroom did not have any lock inside. Please install one

close to areas to visit

beach access requires going up some stairs and if you’re bringing anything with you it makes it difficult and might as well drive to another location

I liked that they had beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, body boards and bikes all available to borrow. I felt like this was a bonus for the hotel in that I didn’t need to bring these items from home! The property is literally across the street from the beach. Our room had full view of the ocean. The rooms are very quaint. It reminded me of an apartment. We utilized the kitchen for meal preparations. The children loved sitting on the balcony when enjoying their meals. The bedrooms were super cute too!

I wish the second bedroom had one more tv.

Location was great close to many options.

The bathroom and fridge had not been cleaned, but once we asked it was cleaned right away. Wifi password did not work to enable Roko.
