Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, CA

First, all of the staff were amazing. They were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was great. It has been a while since I’ve had an included breakfast that offered as much as the Country Inn. The food was amazing at the Fireside Inn and very reasonably priced. We ended up choosing to eat there a second time after such delicious food (chicken quesadilla is recommended). The bar and bartender was also great. Very friendly. Finally, we were 20 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to visit.

I really could not think about anything bad. We were initially a little worried about an outside pool, but ended up loving it.

Breakfast was outstanding with the wide variety of food and fruits that you could get to eat. The room was exceptional, wide area, excellent bed, and a clean restroom. The hotel had ample parking and it was centered on the most used hiways like I-5 and I-805

There was really nothing that you could say was not good. The staff was very helpful, easy to talk to and very helpful when you ask them for help on a good restaurant or shopping centers.

I liked the great vibes the staff had, friendly without overwhelming. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Great shower. Breakfast choices were good, although I would have preferred plain yogurt rather that fruit yogurt, and whole wheat bread rather than white.

A couple things, one is the lack of light at the entrance from the street-even the second night we came in it was hard to see where to turn! The second thing was the housekeeping staff were ready to clean our room before we were; a simple sign to hang on the door would do the trick.

location was very convenient, pretty quiet considering it’s next to the highway. starbucks right next door was awesome and shopping centers 10 mins up the road we’re super convenient. a short drive to la jolla or even downtown for a more lively scene. front desk was always nice and accommodating, we were there about 2 weeks with broken up reservations and they made the move seamless, even let us stay in our current room until a 1br was available. overall it turned out to be a perfect place to stay.

beds could be comfier, toilets flush very slow and usually need to flush more than once. a/c does the job but it can definitely get a bit hot in the day time heat. also the back parking lot by the pool side gets a little eerie after hours, would be nice if there were a little more security around. we had a man walk up to our car after arriving back to the hotel late (maybe 12/1am) and look thru our windows. we were inside by the elevators watching him. probably should have notified employees but my husband is a big guy and just stared at him until he left.

Staff are nice, free breakfast is really convenient, good location and close to all attractions! The bed is comfortable! The only issues are the air conditioning is Loud at night when sleeping and I don’t think they clean the bathtub floor well because I can feel the soap deposits on the tub floor and it kind feel slippery. Over all our experience was good. My husband and I like to stay in this hotel every time we visit San Diego. Thank you for making our stay safe and pleasant!

Bathtub needs to be well cleaned and fridge needs to be checked and make sure it’s defrosted

The breakfast was really good and the bar/restaurant was extremely convenient and good. The king suite was a nice size and the staff was great.

The a/c in the room was not convenient, as it would read the room temp incorrectly and shut off after running for only 5-10 minutes, so you had to keep pressing it to keep it on.

The customer service here is outstanding. That makes the whole experience great from the beginning to the late check out.They are all super personable.For me they earn big bonus points. The really take the time to make sure your stay and experience is a memorable one.

Id really like a couple more towels in the bathroom. Theres usually 2 of us with long hair so we both use 2 towels each but room only has 2 large towels. And every room Ive stayed in needs a bigger shower curtain.Theirs fits but the floor always get wet,sometimes soaking wet.then we really need more towels.

Free parking, compared to many of the other hotels in the San Diego area. Our room was very quiet, as we heard almost no one from our room for two days. The included breakfast was more than adequate and did have some protein rather that the high-carb stuff that some other hotels call breakfast. So overall, a great place and a good location for us as well.

A very minor issue: the bathroom has no towel racks, other than hanging the towels on the shower curtain bar.

I love this hotel. I feel so comfortable everytime. Staff is always professional and friendly. The rooms are so spacious.Beds are beyond comfortable.Finally a tv in a hotel room that actually has good channels and such a clear picture. Nice pool and gym.laundryroom is great and inexpensive.its pet friendly.amazing grab and go breakfast something for the doggies too. Quiet safe place .

I had the room with the attached door. When went into my room my door to the other room was open.looked around the room nothing seemed to be touched. There wasnt a towel for the floor and used a small handtowel.the next day i walked into bathroom while bf was taking a shower and as i walked out i slipped and fell hitting the door since the small handtowel was soaked. Im ok i guess minus the bruised ego. Swollen toes and sore leg n hip. I dont feel thats any fault on the hotel but they should have put a rug in there. And made sure the door was shut and locked who knows the person in the other room may have taken it.

The room was a good size and everything was clean. The breakfast was a good sustainable one. The hotel was at a good car distance from all the attractions Sea world, La Jolla, downtown San Diego, safari and the zoo. They had a pool and jacuzzi, unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of service, they were fixing it. I would recommend this location.
