This is not the first place to charge for parking, but, to me, I’ve always found it peculiar to be considered a guest, but then after we show up, we are told we will be charged a parking fee after paying a higher price, by choice, to stay at a better hotel. I don’t quibble about it with the staff, and just pay the fees, but it’s just always rubbed me the wrong way. This has traditionally been an inclusive accommodation, especially when your business model is one that is supposed to create a comfortable respite for travelers.

This was very convenient for a wedding we were in town for. The room was okay sized and the hotel staff was friendly. The air conditioning was very good and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff at the Bistro was beyond excellent. They were absolutely fantastic and bent over backwards to make my toddler feel welcome.

$12 for parking was daylight robbery.

Property was super clean and quiet - it was a decent location as long as you have a vehicle - which provides easy access to multiple locations, beach-towns, restaurants, etc. All staff were friendly and helpful. Requirement for masking for non-vax was much appreciated - extra sanitizers and cleanliness was exceptional. Morning latte’s and breakfast at cafe was a huge plus. Price was decent.

Nothing really. Bathroom was a little dated but very clean.

Great overall value. Excellent price and location! Close to Interstates in North San Diego. No homeless compared with downtown SD and LA. Clean and comfy room although a little outdated. Nice balcony a great plus! Pool and courtyard/fire pit were a nice break during Cov 19 for outside eating. Good Cov 19 protocols in place Excellent staff at front desk and housekeeping- wearing mask most of time. Starbucks in house very convenient. Several restaurants within close walking and driving distance.

Several other guests not wearing masks despite rapid increase in Cov 19 cases but this was not really hotels fault.

A lovely Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Clean room with functional settings and amenities e.g. microwave oven. The onsite laundry facility is very convenient. The location is also convenient.

12 USD parking fee per day is quite costly, but I think this is a business practice around the area. No complimentary breakfast.

This was a clean, well decorated, recently remodeled hotel. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the swimming pool. There was a nice fire pit outside just across from the swimming pool.

Our room was across from the ice machine so it was a bit annoying hearing people get ice early in the morning.

They were overbooked when we arrived, but the staff were very gracious and we got the first night free at another Marriott, which we appreciated. Good brew pub in park across the street!

The pool was a bit loud with kids but the noise died down in the evening. Next time, I'd request a room facing outwards.

The cleanliness was great. The staff is very friendly. The beds are very comfortable. Very safe and quiet place.

The food is ok, it's just Starbucks food, 1 item on the menu plus one drink only. Not recommended to pay for the food.

Clean, clean, clean. After staying at a “non-smoking” room in another hotel and getting sick there we decided to leave and come to this hotel. When we entered the room we immediately knew we would have a great stay. The room smelled clean and the sheets and towels were fresh. You can tell they vacuum after every guest stay and it’s just a wonderful feeling to know that you are staying in a place that is truly clean. A nice little touch was having a little patio with a table and 2 chairs. Very nice!

No complimentary breakfast, and not very many channels to watch on the tv.
