Galleria Park Hotel

1. The reasonable price for SF. 2. The spacious room for SF (the king room). 3. The Good lobby. 4. The private garden is very convenient if you stay with a dog. 5. They do not outsource valet parking to some other company. They have their own garage (under the hotel) and own valet service. The garage is reserved for hotel guests only. In my opinion, it was very safe to leave my car there.

1. The shower door can't be closed tight. Water leaks to the floor. 2. I would give this hotel 10/10 if not the homeless and drug crisis in San Francisco. It is not normal when people are lying semi-naked in their own feces on the streets. You can say that it is not responsibility of the hotel. I disagree. It is the direct responsibility of hotels and other local busyness to work with the government and politics to resolve the crisis. And when I say "resolve" I does NOT mean throwing money to the problem (what SF government doing for years). Currently, I am going to SF once a year despite living in two hours. I would go every two months if not the homeless and drug crisis.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in ! The manager upgraded my room since I had an unpleasant experience at another hotel just a day before. The room was perfect and loved that they gave me a free gym pass for all the days I stayed there. I didn't get a chance to have the complimentary tea/coffee in the morning and wine in evening , but that is one added bonus to anyone who stays there Definitely recommend this hotel !

Beautiful vintage hotel in a great location. Staff is exceptional.

Dog barking late at night and early morning. Pets should be limited to certain floors and guests should without pets should have rooms on pet free floor.

Great location next to BART and close proximity to restaurants. loved the happy hour between 5-6 pm and the staff was wonderful. Rooms look recently redone and lots of space. nice size bathrooms too. Would definitely stay again!!

Well someone pulled the fire alarm and that wasn’t fun…although not the fault of any of the staff.

Beautiful classic hotel. Excellent location in the heart of SF. Walking distance to so many things. Room was spacious and clean. I liked that we could connect our devices to the TV to stream shows on it.

Rooftop garden was a bit of a let down. Nothing wrong with it, just was expecting something nicer. Bathroom was tiny. Serviceable, but tiny. No other complaints.

The hotel is very centrally located right in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Union Square, the Embarcadero and Chinatown are all within walking distance. I love the happy hour from 5 to 6 pm in the hotel every day where guests are able to enjoy a nice glass of wine. Staff were very friendly and helpful and they gave me a room on a higher floor with nice views of the city.

At times the elevators may take some time to arrive especially in the mornings when it is check out time. On a previous stay only one of the two elevators was working but it looks like the issue has been rectified.

Everything from the efficient and friendly staff to the cleanliness and great location, this hotel really makes you feel at home in the center of San Francisco. The room was very cozy and quiet, the bed and bedding were just right, and the price was considerably less than some of the larger hotels in the area. Plus, you can't beat the location--just steps from Union Square and walking distance to Moscone Center, SF MoMa, The Ferry Building, or even Oracle Park. We only wish our plans had allowed us to sample one of their famous martinis, but I guess we'll just have to visit again.

The hotel is very centrally located in downtown San Francisco just off Market Street. My room on the 8th floor was relatively quiet. I liked how guests were encouraged to use the bottles in the room to fill up water at the water station on the 7th floor, which was very environmentally friendly. There is access to the garden on the 3rd floor but your key is needed to get back into the hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The internet connection was unstable at times and I needed to reset my wifi connection to get back on. The page that I was on jammed and was unable to load. I had to turn off the wifi connection on my laptop and then switch it on again.

The staff was very friendly and I liked the location and decor. I loved the silver and gold wall paper going down the stairs and the big white mirror, to do a double check before heading out. I think it had flowers, regardless we liked the place. Every time we came in there was literally an open elevator to hop in, zero wait time. It’s awesome you had free reverse osmosis water and ice. The bath products by Jonathan Adler were lovely We forgot to ask if you sold them, if not we think you should consider it. We loved the garden area for our dog, super convenient especially late at night or early in the morning. Love the fridge so we could keep stuff cool!!!

Parking fees and taxes, but it’s everywhere. The room was a little on the small side but it’s a city and space is limited. The bed was a little too firm for our taste, but we’re really spoiled when it comes to beds and bedding, for the price and location and decor were lovely.

The hotel was located right in the heart of downtown San Francisco right next to the Crocker Galleria. There was a very pleasant rooftop garden for hotel guests to explore. My room was very quiet even though it was in the city centre. There was free coffee and tea available in the lobby in the morning as well as a special happy hour from 5 to 6 pm every evening for drinks. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.

There was no restaurant located within the hotel that was operating so we had to leave the hotel for breakfast options.
