Days Inn by Wyndham Bethel - Danbury

The breakfast was decent. The breakfast caretaker was cheery and very diligent.

The door to the room did not close upon leaving the room. I required a strong, extra tug to close the door. The entry clerk suggested a nearby bar & grill for dinner. We arrived at 8:42 pm to learn that the eatery closes at 8:30 pm pm a Friday night!? This Inn is a bit tricky to find off the interstate, but there is ample parking and even a picnic table outside, under the trees. The Inn was quiet although very populated. The maid was competent and could not have been friendlier. Note to a first-time visitor to Scranton, the highways and signage was very confusing. We repeatedly had to ask for directions - but almost everyone we asked was friendly and informative!

Prefect location for our visit to Monroe. Spacious room. Good check in and out, friendly staff. I really liked the drinks fridge in reception rather than a vending machine, and staff were always about. Room service was excellent. Beds made and towels changed every day of out 3 night stay. Plenty of parking.

Breakfast was limited choice and the same each day. Loud music being played in the back parking lot on the 1st night. (not necessarily the fault of the property!)

I fell in the parking lot was taken to the hospital by ambulance with trauma to my face and leg. Received stitches and injury to my teeth. I requested an accident form to fill out and was told they don't have any forms for accidents. Please send me the necessary forms to file a claim. Thank you

Beds were very comfortable and room was clean and spacious. There were 2 restaurants directly across the street and a diner next door so plenty of options within walking distance.

Our tub faucet leaked, but you could only hear it when in the bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing - prepackaged stuff only, not even any fresh fruit.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Quiet location. The hotel had complimentary coffee, juice, oatmeal and Danish rolls. Had a delicious breakfast at Stony Hill Diner which is less than a 5 minute walk. There is a small pizza place across the street which we have not tried.

Would of been nice if there were USB ports or extra electrical outlets by the night stand by the bed to charge your phone. Also, more options for free breakfast items like cereal, yogurt, milk, fruit would of been nice.

Breakfast was very light…but I only had coffee anyway. I did not expect the refrigerator nor the microwave-so I was pleasantly surprised.

The drain in the tub was a little slower than the water coming out during my shower but not terribly so. The door frame in the bathroom is ready for a coat of paint, but otherwise I was extremely pleased with my stay.

Everything, it had a table and chairs to eat meals on, the a/c was quiet and cool, just what you need on hot summer days. We were able to get a 1st floor unit no smoking which for people in their 70's was a delight.

I wish the parking had been a little more spacious.

Clean and great pillows.

Staff was helpful but not very friendly. But I think its a Connecticut thing. Heard the people upstairs walking, talking and tv. Even heard their toilet and exhaust fan in the bathroom.
