Inn at Harbor Hill Marina

The location is idealic, quiet, beautiful views and close to everything. Great for walking around town and the boardwalk. The morning breakfast is such a treat, not having to worry about getting food first thing in the morning makes the day stress free. I loved the Keurig and being able to wake up super early to have a cup of coffee. The accommodations were super cozy, well appointed and quiet. The staff was really sweet, helpful, attentive and kind. This place is definitely a gem. The only thing that wasn’t totally perfect was the bed, it was super hard, BUT Julia went out of her way to get us a nice foam topper which helped a lot. I’m not sure why but the pillows were very uncomfortable. There were lots of them but none of them kept their shape, they weren’t very supportive. I think this is a minor complaint and I would just bring a pillow with me next time. The parking was easy, the property and common areas were clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our room with the nice big bath and the cozy fireplace for cool mornings. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say anything would make the Inn better, we were never short on comfort or attentiveness. We felt very comfortable and welcomed the entire time.

Breakfast was great, availability of chairs and towels cooler for the beach. Captain Rick gave a great and informative ride 👍 fresh made cookies, wine cheese etc nice touches. Ice maker and refreshments very handy a nice to have. Was a surprise to have breakfast delivered to our room, that was not mentioned when we checked in

We were not told that rooms weren’t being turned down during the day. We ran a washcloth on baseboards in bathroom because we saw dust on them, filthy, piece of popcorn on floor, also ran cloth on top of headboard, loaded with dust, rooms are not being cleaned thoroughly. Took umbrella to beach only to find out it was worn out by previous guests.

Incredible location overlooking a marina. Remarkably attentive and personable staff. Wonderful value. Upon arrival we were greeted with happy hour with wine, brewed ice tea, sangria and a cheese platter, along with a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks. An outstanding mix of music played the whole time on the lawn and veranda. The evening was capped off with fresh baked cookie. Everything was perfect, an almost surreal perfection. The next day we enjoyed a full, served breakfast on the porch, looking out at the boats in the harbor. Very difficult to exceed the Inn for gracious accommodations, excellent staff and a nearly endless amount perks. It is a wonderful place to stay.

The Inn at Harbor Hill is very clean and well kept. We enjoyed our breakfast with views of the marina. We especially loved our room with a fireplace, balcony and ocean view. We stayed in the Captain Clarke House, 2nd floor, Nautilus Room. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Niantic doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of "things to do" but that has nothing to do with this inn....it just would have been nice if there was more of a downtown to visit.

The Inn at Harbor Hill Marina was tastefully upscale. Everything was gleaming in our room, in the facility and the outdoor areas. As a bonus there was live music the Thursday we were there. Because it was raining, we sat on the porch in some awesome rocking chairs and listened to the musician who was under the gazebo. Then when we were leaving for dinner, the hotel left umbrellas out for guests to use. (nice touch). Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The only drawback was there's no elevator to the upper levels.

Location was perfect, overlooking the Marina. Staff were all very friendly. Loved that breakfast was included and variety was enough. Wine and cheese each afternoon and warm cookies in evening was such a nice touch. We were surprised and pleased that there was live entertainment on Wednesday. Overall our experience/stay was lovely.

We loved our stay here. The staff was so warm and welcoming! The views were gorgeous. The room had a huge tv and beautiful view of the marina! We were welcomed with fresh smells of sugar cookies when we walked in and the homemade breakfast was outstanding! Service was exceptional. We cannot wait to come back.

Nothing! It was clean. overly friendly. Loved the snacks and beverage options!

From check in to check out, we felt welcomed, valued, and received everything promised and more. Staff was friendly. property was perfect, and breakfast was awesome. Mornings on patio with breakfast, afternoon walks to boardwalk, beach, and restaurants, evenings on desk in rocking chairs watching the sunset and enjoying the sea air. It was a perfect get away. Looking forward to another stay soon.

Nothing it was perfect.

I was surprised to find that this was a bed and breakfast and initially didn’t think I would like it. However, the location was walkable to restaurants and the marina, the view from the property was fantastic, and the included breakfast and cookies were great, too.

The only thing I didn’t like was carrying my bag upstairs.

Great location, gorgeous amenities and view. Staff were so friendly and sweet. Loved the touch on the wine and robes. Breakfast was a simple menu, and cooked right. Nice feature on room service, which we did on last day. We had a wonderful stay.

We should of planned for a bigger room, room 3 had a balcony. Will know for next time. Because room 2 was tight, we hit our shins on the corner of bed. We thought we could move mattress down, but it is tucked inside the box spring. Small suggestion also, I would give a full roll of toilet paper upon a new guest. We did have one under sink and kleenex, which was efficient.
