Quality Inn Old Saybrook - Westbrook

We found the weekend at the Quality Inn a comfortable and quiet facility. There were a lot of activities in the Old Saybrook/Westbrook area going on that weekend, including guests from 2 weddings, who were staying there, and it was satisfyingly quiet. The included breakfast was good. We liked the spacious room. They don't make them like that anymore. It was very nice that there was a pool that felt refreshing. Love the nearby restaurant, Otter Cove, which is walking distance away. We attended an event in nearby Westbrook, and the distance wasn't too far away from the Quality Inn. We'll return another time. Thank you.

The 24-hour coffee offering lacked fresh coffee and no creamer. However, the front desk reception did go to the locked breakfast room to retrieve some.

We loved that there was a pool and it had salt water instead of chlorine. We greatly appreciated that we had a room on the first floor which made it easy to move in and out. We also appreciated that the Otter's Cove was within walking distance and the helpfulness of the staff who helped us immensely with our requests and finding food.

Softer beds and a larger bathroom would have made our experience even better.

For the price, this room was great. I paid $100 for me and my buddy and it didn't disappoint. I heard nothing all night (it was a Tuesday night, but still). AC worked great, place was pretty quiet. Pool looked nice, but didnt get to go in. Front desk lady was nice, everything was convenient, including location right off the highway. Downtown is wicked cute too, definitely check that out.

Bathroom was a little groaty in spots, but didn't effect anything.

loved the indoor poor and the included breakfast with anything you could imagine. the waffles were delicious. the hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and kind.

sometimes the halls needed vacuuming from kids leaving crumbs. but that’s really about it and nothing negative about the property.

The pool area was very hot! We had to watch kids and it was hot to sit in there. Plus other guests kids were jumping, running and throwing each other around in the pool area. There were lots of kids there because of a baseball tournament. We also were very annoyed with other guests kids running around and yelling late at night, past 11:00. Since the hotel was fully booked it might have been beneficial to have an extra staff member on hand to walk around to keep an eye on things and detour this behavior.

Many options at breakfast, very good. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I did not want to get out of bed. The staff were very kind and helpful. Check in was simple. The shower was great! The room was very large.

There needs to be more signs that help you direct to the rooms or elevator. That's about it, I really liked the hotel and rooms.

It was pretty standard for decor’. Nothing very exceptional. We were disappointed that the pool was closed at 9:30pm and did not open until 9:30am. It makes for a small window of use for travelers and we had two grandkids who would have enjoyed a swim after a long car ride.

I enjoyed the 5 night stay. Very clean, and employees are very helpful and friendly. I did learn to make reservations with the hotel instead of booking.com but they were quick to fix the error. Their breakfast is delicious and gives you many options as to what to eat! Overall I had a great 5 nights and will back in Oct!

The location was perfect for where we were going. Hotel staff were all very friendly from the front desk to the maids. It was very quiet at night to.

Our only complaint was the bathroom ceiling fan didn't work so we had lots of steam when we showered but we would definitely stay here again.

It was unfortunate that the pool door wouldn't unlock at opening hours and we needed to wait for the manager to get there but they made it right and let us have late check out so our son had time to swim before we left.
