Liberty Inn Old Saybrook

Very clean and pleasant place. Very convenient to the event we came to town for. Staff was welcoming and responsive. The room was large, and the bed was super-comfortable.

A bit of road noise from I-95, but once inside the room it's hardly noticeable. I'm sure the inn was there before the highway was built!

THE ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR WITH KING SIZE BED WAS VERY COMFY. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE AC STRONG. THE ROOM WAS VERY QUIET WHEN EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED UP.

THE COFFEE MAKER DIDN'T KEEP THE COFFEE HOT. AND THE MINI FRIDGE FREEZER WAS LEAKING DOWN INTO THE REFRIGERATOR. WE TOLD THE MANAGER AND HE SAID HE WOULD REPLACE IT. ALSO THE PARKING LOT WAS CRAMPED WITH THE LARGE SUV'S AND PICK UP TRUCKS THAT STUCK OUT OF THEIR SPACES. HARD TO TURN THE CAR AROUND.

Spacious room, very very clean with many amenities - I especially got use of the ironing board/iron. Value for money was excellent.

Website indicated breakfast was included. A sign was up at the lobby stating breakfast was not available. There was another note that said coffee in room. There was no coffee anywhere. There was a great amount of noise directly upstairs (we were in room #15) very late at night. The noises were odd and somewhat frightening to be honest.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was better than at some more expensive places we have stayed. Because we were so close to the highway we thought it would be noisy however when we closed the door the highway noise abated. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and always smiling.

The tv service was a little hard to figure out.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly enough. The location was convenient for access to the Old Saybrook and Essex areas. The price was good compared to hotels in the area, especially for a holiday weekend.

The motel is next to I-95 so there was a lot of traffic noise that could be heard in the room, but it wasn't too loud to sleep.

Large room, comfortable bed, got the job done. Front desk staff was helpful.

The heat had been off for a long time, so the room was REALLY cold when we got there - probably 50 degrees. Would have been nice if they had turned it on prior to our arrival.

The location was easy access to lots of places that we wanted to visit. Everyone we spoke to at the Liberty Inn was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Nothing. Everything was great. I wouldn't change a thing except to add a clock in the room.

Clean, budget, family run, folks very accommodating. Nothing fancy but a comfortable bed good air conditioning and TV with lots of channels.

This is not five-star accommodations, so I really didn’t have any complaints because I got exactly what I was looking for an inexpensive clean room.

Very comfortable bed, good a/c (not noisy), really excellent shower head and water pressure. I needed an inexpensive room for one night just to sleep and shower. This was perfect. I like having a coffee maker and fridge in the room. Very convenient location: next to I-95, but I didn’t notice any traffic noise. Very nice staff. I couldn’t get the TV to work and someone immediately came to the room (at 9:30 p.m.) to help me. I felt comfortable and safe, traveling as a lone female. I would definitely stay here again.
