Hampton Inn Norwich

The room was comfortable, clean, well equipped and aesthetically pleasing. The location was an easy, convenient drive off the interstate and to our destinations. The clerk at reception was very friendly, we were greeted warmly and very helpful when we had questions. Breakfast food was hot, and was replenished quickly when necessary. Excellent coffee and it was HOT which is how I like it. Our room was clean, well lit, bathroom supplies filled, lots of towels etc. the mattress was VERY comfortable as were the pillows and other bed covers.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a very pleasant, short stay.

Everything was outstanding! We were pleasantly surprised by many things. The staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. Our king standard room was spacious with modern contemporary decor and impeccably clean. The jacuzzi was pure heaven. It was bright, perfect temperature and had a waterfall that we sat under. The pool design was great for laps. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff went above beyond to accommodate and created a positive experience.

The proximity to the cemetery was somewhat strange and the highway was extremely close. Some rust in shower.

The breakfast was good, however the pastries were cold and should have been at least room temperature.

When I checked I'm the woman was not very friendly for a hospitality facility. Didn't talk , wasn't pleasant at all , she was very grouchy to the point that I didn't want to even ask her any questions. However the two gentleman that were on the next shift were fantastic, pleasant and very talkative. I was very comfortable approaching them. Asked us if we going to concert and then when I saw them again the next day they remembered that conversation and asked us how it was, was it fun, and so on. These two are the example of who you should use to present the true hospitality of your facility

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. There was a choice of hot and cold foods. The common areas where clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good. It is right off the interstate and close to the casinos and outlets.

Housekeeping is only available upon request. I requested extra washcloths twice and they didn't have any, but eventually someone brought them to the room.

The location was great a lot o nearby restaurants and about 5 minutes drive to the Mohegan Sun. We were about 25 mins away from Mystic, CT which was convenient to go back and forth. Breakfast was helpful and coffee all day you can't beat it. Front desk and staff were friendly and helpful. The lady running the breakfast area was sweet and worked very hard. The room was very clean and parking was provided. We would definitely stay here again when we go back to CT.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Outdoor pool would have been great but indoor pool was good too.

it’s not really their fault but a guest must have spilled a beverage on the floor (and didn’t clean it up or tell anyone) and even the next morning it was still very sticky and messy looking.

The place was amazingly clean. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and quick to respond to any requests we had. The pool and hot tub were the cleanest we have ever experienced at a hotel. The location was perfect for us. So easy to find and so convenient to places to eat, shop etc for anything we might have needed. The pillows were the best we have had in a hotel and the bedding was very comfortable. The air conditioning was ice cold. Love the pull out wire racks! Since it was a short stay and we left our suitcases packed, they were perfect for putting our snacks in instead of having to rummage through bags to find what we wanted. Loved the USB charging ports and the rolling cubes for extra seating too!

No hot breakfast food items and the shower took a long time to get hot and never did get really hot

Nice modern style hotel. Ample parking, in location with easy access to restaurants, entertainment. Clean and well maintained.

The bed & bedding. Bed was quite firm . Duvet cover was awful- scratchy, did not stay on the comforter at all. My son ended up twisted up in them throughout the night.

We asked for an early check-in and we were pleased that they accommodated us. The rooms were large and clean. Mattresses and pillows were comfy. Continental breakfast offered many options. Pool area was beautiful and very clean.

The pool was way to cold for my husband and I to use. My grand daughter did use pool but couldn't stay in long. She had to keep warming back up in the hot tub.

Nice spacious and well-equipped room. The rooms on the side next to the cemetery are quiet.

My first room on the side next to the street and near the elevator was noisy. Complimentary breakfast was rather basic.
