Residence Inn Southington

The staff and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly as if we knew them for a long time. The surprise upgrade to a much nicer room was awesome!! Totally unexpected, to whomever set that up a big thank you! That was very sweet 😊 The breakfast included was setup with as many choices you could imagine. Thank you to Kevin the Manager for his assistance when unexpected medical issues came up for one of my family members that had reservations as well. Thanks to all the staff for making our 2 night stay a sucess.

Husband and daughter LOVED the breakfast! I personally was thrilled there actually was one offered. Because of Covid the last 2 hotels I stayed at didn't offer anything. This hotel had a full spread! Coffee was especially great and ready even for an early departure!

Honestly, I didn't find anything to complain about. There weren't enough towels in the room for three people and when my husband went to get some, they gave him FOUR extra! We needed a bed set for the fold out bed and it arrived at our room BEFORE I got back from the front desk!

The beds were great! It was comfortable and clean.

The greeting was not welcoming from Taylor, I realized after it was shift change and she wanted to go home. I almost didn't stay the night, I'm happy I did everything else was great. All other staff I came in contact were very friendly, they followed the five ten rules...I'll be back.

The breakfast was fine.

We were in room 231. The room was very spacious, clean and the shower worked well. However, the mattress was not good. I weigh 120 lbs, my husband weighs 155 lbs. I felt like I was sleeping on a hill instead of selling on a flat surface.

I like the location, and the guest services were polite, my room was clean, and the service of receiving my towels and whatever else I needed was fast and the people were pleasant.

That the pool area was a little cool.

The staff went out there way we felt like family. It was located to so many attractions but truly we had no reason to leave. We will be returning.

The staff was wonderful they’re all there with a smile on their faces that you can see through the mask. They were attentive and so welcoming. It was like the staff were quest tip toeing around your home not to disturb you. I booked two rooms for my husband, myself and the kids. Even the kids said they enjoyed the stay, the pool, and they mentioned how fast room service was when they asked for more towels. The place is quiet, clean and peaceful. I will be retuning without the children next time.

Grab and go breakfast was minimal - muffin in plastic, granola bar, little bottle of water. Glad Dunkin was next door. Sweet Mango Japanese/Thai takeout a few doors down was exceptional.

Staff would sometimes pull masks up as they approached. 1 of 13 guests I passed in the hallways wore masks. People in conference rooms, no masks. Wake the bleep up CT, there's a pandemic.

The GM is awesome!!!! Very friendly, very helpful and really genuine with every guest.

There isn't anything I didn't like.
