Tranquilo

We loved the location near restaurants and the beach! It couldn't have been better! The pool/ courtyards are are real beach bungalow throwback which feel really nice!

We were a bit overwhelmed by the heavy air freshening fragrance used in the room. We had to open the door to relieve the intensity as it aired out. The room was very plain (white) and the bathroom was very cramped and really could use a good remodeling as the sink cabinet was really tiny and low with no room to put any bathroom supplies on. The shower, likewise, had no shelves to put out soaps and shampoos, etc. They had to be put on the floor in the shower to be used. Also, at 1:30 am the smoke alarm started chirping ...AARGH! The maintenance staff got there quickly and were really great guys ... although, it would have been better if they would have brought a pizza for the disturbance!

Location is a short walk to the beach and main strip of bars/restaurants; 3 pools; ample space in the room; good price

Hotel is a little run down; more motel style than hotel; 1 of the pools was dirty and when we asked if someone could skim the pool, they made us do it ourselves; missing a couple things (coffee maker but no coffee pot, stove but not pots/pans)

The Tranquillo Hotel is a nice moderate mid-century hotel (3 or 4 buildings) in a quieter location a few blocks west of the beach; The hotel has three different pools and a nature preserve (not accessible) on the north side of the hotel; the office staff (Brandon and Kamala) is friendly, professional and helpful. My room was clean and A/C worked well which is imperative in south Florida. A small minus: I would have preferred softer pillows, and 4 pillows instead of 2.

Location was great. Close to area we went to do personal business in. Close to beach and restaurants. We were able to walk to all of the places we wanted to visit. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable.

Had to wait on staff to get to office to check in - office staff is not always on site. Room was serviced every day but linens were not always replaced consistently. Example - we would get 2 bath towels with no washcloths or hand towels or shower mat. On another day we would only get one set of everything. The staff was always very accommodating in providing whatever extra we needed, we just had to ask.

Different houses that belong to property all have a pool included. The staff was extremely nice and gave us many recommendations about restaurants and bars. The apartment was spacious, bright, modern and had tv with roku stick and kitchenette. The pool was great and location was good. Overall it was very clean and the staff was always busy cleaning the property. Within walking distance of the beach( only 5 minutes) and several restaurants. cheap Ubers can bring you farther out.

The shower curtain was a little outdated and the water had a weird smell to it. Our mattress was somewhat comfortable but unfortunately old or pretty out of shape and the bed was very low and we’re both pretty tall so it was hard to stand up. There was what felt like a hollow area where we sunk in so our feet were higher up and it was a little awkward to sleep in it. When the other apartments got cleaned we saw that the beds were higher and the mattresses seemed new so I think it was just our room where the bed and mattress were older.

Location was really close to beach, comfortable spacious room for one bedroom suite and pool were all good.

Struggled to get room clean, new towels and trash taken out.

Such a cute room! Perfect size, decorated nicely, loved the mirrors and having a closet. Bed was super comfy! It was perfect walking distance to the beach and had a great access point. Staff at the front desk was super friendly and informative of the property! We only stayed for one night but tried to move our flights to stay longer because of how much we loved the property.

Never planned to pay for parking, especially one night I had to park on the street outside of the hotel, because of no parking from the hotel and still paid for parking.

Fix parking situation, repair some of your decorative lighting and outdoor lights as it is dark in some areas of the property. The young guy at the front desk is an excellent worker also the cleaning lady. Other than that, we will be staying with you guys again we enjoyed our stay.

Large clean rooms near a more quiet section of the beach. It has multiple pools and access to all their nearby facilities. The price was not cheap but more than reasonable for the area compared to other properties.

There was usually nobody present at the front desk and you had to call by phone to speak to somebody.

The housekeeper did an amazing job above and beyond!! They cleaned my room every single day made beds with fresh new blankets and sheets washed my dirty dishes took trash every day the week i stayed there they was amazing!!! The hotel was only 5 mins from the beach it was a good reasonable price i had everything i needed in my hotel i had my own balcony refrigerator stove to cook our food microwave dining area also it was roku tvs we had netflix zeus youtube tv Pluto tv etc pools in every corner it was amazing hotel overall i highly recommend!

I did see some ants but i didn't see them anymore the next day
