The Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Charming South Florida style hotel with great location close to the beach.Stylish and spacious rooms (we were 2 adults snd two children) Front staff very friendly and always happy to help! Valet staff also very service minded and understood that the valet parking was a bit pricey for us (46$ per day) and suggested a few parking spots across the road were we could park for free. Lovely little play area for children with pingpong table and some others games.

Beds and pillows too soft for me and my husband. Rooftop pool still under renovation and thus closed. The other pool area is nice with many sunbeds and a bar but it looked as if it was in need of some proper maintenance (sand and leafs in the pool).

The location was great. Close to the beach but not on the main strip with all the traffic and noise. I loved the food and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The decor was very cute and simple and the rooms were clean and fresh.

I think the resort fee should be included in the advertised price. Not doing so is deceiving. Or, alternatively, have the internet included in the price and charge an optional resort fee if the guest uses any of the resort services.

Love the location and the hotel. Much nicer than one of the big thousand room options nearby. Rooms great and so is the bar and the restaurant. The staff are all really friendly and efficient.

The roof top bar was closed for renovations which was a bummer as we had planned to use it and the pool. Otherwise an excellent stay and will stay here again whenever I am in Ft Lauderdale.

Want to thank the front desk staff. Beyond lovely. Checked in during the worst rain storm in Fort Lauderdale history and the staff couldn’t have been sweeter or more accommodating. I also left my air pods in my room after I checked out and they were found immediately and I picked them up within 20 minutes after I realized they were gone. Every person I encountered on the staff couldn’t have been nicer.

Great older traditional building that has been beautifully restored and updated by Kimpton. Very close to the beach but in a nice, quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. The rooftop pool is wonderful and has a great view of the intercoastal. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the restaurant.

Not much to dislike. The valets don't know much about local restaurants but that was not a big deal.

All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is located just a few blocks from the beach but has 2 swimming pools and one is at their rooftop which has a pretty nice view and atmosphere. Facilities were always kept clean and service was great. Food at their restaurant or at the rooftop were also very good and tasty.

The room we booked was not available (2 queen rooms) so we had to settle for a king bedroom which was smaller.

Everything was perfect. The beach was a two minute walk away, the water there was remarkable. The hotel provides two chairs, towels and water at the beach. The pool had some awesome vibes. A DJ from 12-4, the bar opens at 11 am, plenty of places to sit. You could just hang out at the pool all day. The restaurant was more than satisfactory. The staff was a blast and incredibly helpful. Cory and Mike were seriously dope.

Nothing bad to say.

The roof top swimming pool was brilliant. Great views with the sun on the pool from dawn to dusk.

Soaps and toilet rolls were not replaced when empty

Great location. Staff was phenomenal. Very comfy bed.

We had to evacuate a hurricane and I needed to work during my stay. The little table in the room was not adequate for a full day’s work.
