Winterset

This is one of a string of small motels that got taken over given a redo obviously I wish it was cheaper. Well maintained at this time hot tubs working pool working location perfect

Typical small motel you telling the TV is not working they tell you it's a problem everybody has you point out that you're an engineer and that you know what's wrong eventually if you push you get moved to a room where the stuff's working perfectly okay

We had a late check in which was no problem for them. The hotel was great, the grounds are so nice. It's only two blocks up the street from the beach and a couple blocks from the water taxi stop. We enjoyed watching the iguanas climb the palm trees. We hung out at the heated pool everyday. All the stores are within walking distance. They gave us extra towels and tp without us asking. We would def stay here again and look forward to it in the future.

Me and my freinds stayed for spring break. The room was very large and comfortable. The facility had three pools and one hot tub, all of which were very nice. I liked that each room led to striaght outdoors, no hallways or elevators to ride. The staff was very friendly as well. Overall I would say it was a great value for the price.

The floors in our room were not cleaned throughout the week, however the bed was made and our towels replaced. Not very much we didn't like!

The staff was very friendly, Valeria and Alvin helped us a lot, though we got transferred to a different building of the village ( from the Winterset to Tropirock, same chain) the inconvenience was not even noticed after the service we received. The room was big enough for the 4 guys we were in the trip, also the kitchenette was a huge plus. Definitely would come back here.

There was not a jacuzzi in the hotel, not a huge deal since we could use the one a the other facility, but it would’ve been cool if there had been one at Tropirock.

Staff is GREAT!! Super helpful and friendly. Beach towels were available for us to use. Pool areas were nice. Location is fantastic - walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars , water taxi.

Our sink would backup a little bit but it was totally useable. It would be nice if there was a little table or an extra chair to put down luggage. Outlet by the coffee maker would help.

The location was perfect. The man that registered was very polite and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom left a little too be desired. No chair to sit in. Could use some updating for sure.

Bathroom was dreary, window wouldn't close and screen in window was half out. No sitting area in room.

The pools are lovely. It is an older property but was clean and we slept well. Short walk to either the beach or the water taxis and that was WONDERFUL! Lots of restaurants around.

Our bathroom had an odd odor and we didn’t see anything like vending machines or anything but not that big of a deal. This is no frills but worked well.

the location was very near the beach. the room was adequate for what i was looking for. the staff was friendly and helpful. the bed was fantastic. the big mirror was helpful. the shower was excellent.

the construction across the street; noisy and dirty. it was difficult to get someone in the office. Had to wait a long time or nobody would answer the phone. i was on the third floor. it was a bit difficult to go up and down the stairs. i am 67 yo. it was easy to hear the people in the room next to me.

Location. Pool. Hot tub. Courtyards. Room size. Great hotel. I walked and looked at a lot of comparable hotels in area. This hotel was the best.

Bed was a bit hard. Shower handle broken.

The room was a little sparse the TV accommodations were pretty bizarre compared to regular rentals or hotels the amenities in the room we’re pretty bare to nonexistent and a couple of the lights didn’t function nor did the ceiling fan
