Comfort Inn Fort Myers Northeast

Hotel was nice, quiet, clean and right off the highway. AC worked well and room seemed recently renovated with tile flooring (no carpet) which was great. Not very many guests while we were there so there wasn’t a lot of coming/going noises from the hall.

Hotel is somewhat isolated, within walking distance is a Cracker Barrel & a Waffle House but that’s it. Cute waterfront restaurant 3 mile drive down the road. Metal bed frame was very squeaky and made a lot of noise every time someone moved.

It was clean and their bedding is nice

They surprise you with a “deposit” fee when you arrive. I have stayed there before and never had that happen. When my daughter and I arrived they made us pay $200 on our debit card to make sure the room stayed clean and no damage. Felt a little weird lol.

I liked the service's, and i loved my room being cold and comfortable 😌, and we loved the staff that made are stay welcomed ☺️..the breakfast was awesome , who don't like waffles, and beagles.. so the Murray family is convinced it's yall all the way 🤔, so hold a candle up and we will be there ty 😊 and god bless

It was clean and convenient for the night that I needed. Air was nice and cold. Bed was comfortable.

The biggest dislike was the fact that they hit you with a, "There is a $100 cash deposit required at check in." Then they wanted to argue that it was in fine print on the bottom of the site. Well obviously you didn't want anyone to notice it if it was in fine print. Very inconvenient. I even heard another guest later that evening arguing the same thing when they arrived, LOL. Maybe if it was in bigger writing or noticeable on the site it would prevent the future arguments with customers. The place smelled moldy, and questionable people hanging outside begging for money, Other than that, everything else was acceptable.

If the kids over slept and miss breakfast I couldn't take breakfast to them yes there is one sign but everyone did it all the time but I just would make there plates and sit in the area till they woke up and staff had to wait on me to clean the area.

Price was outrageous for a motel. I understand that this was mostly due to the hurricane last year and the issues it must have caused with beachfront properties and demand but still 300 a night! I probably should have done my homework and stayed inland.

Overall this hotel was very good and the hotel seemed very clean and smelled clean except for the exception that there was a huge roach in our room that we had to kill. Other than that the staff was very friendly and they served breakfast in the morning.

Unfortunately the bathroom did not have a vent fan and we found a huge roach crawling on the floor.

It was great & staff did a very good job. I am handicap and I had no problems. Everyone of my family was very satisfied.

Had bad experience on the east coast, wish I had booked the same hotel over there. I will look for one from now on.

Ensure website has all information regarding payments with cash or card. Had to put up and additional $100.00 CASH not card for incidentals, at time of check-in. Additional monies for incidentals is understandable, however they wanted CASH and not card, because I paid with cash. If this information is on the website then all would be well, however it wasn't.

i booked this for my adult kids from out of town i was not staying there but because I was paying for the room and I was local they wanted to charge me a cash deposit along with credit card. also they messed up on other family reservation . that’s another story
