Courtyard by Marriott Fort Walton Beach-West Destin

The hotel was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The ladies at the front desk were always so friendly and helpful to me with all my questions, and I really appreciated that. The hotel is true "beachfront", and has a restaurant on the main lobby, and also a pizza restaurant by the pool which overlooks the beautiful ocean. I went to the restaurant in the lobby a few times and the food was always delicious, especially their breakfast, and very convenient being onsite. You also have the option to rent beach chairs which I did as well. There are also many restuarants close enough to just walk over to which I did. I also loved the onsite garage parking which really helped those hot summer days, and security was always there monitoring the parking lot so I felt very safe overall. My room was decorated nicely, with a good view of the ocean, and was more than enough space just for me, and the bed was super comfy.

It would've been nice to have a room safe, my room didn't. I'm not sure if others may have or not?

The ocean view from our window was beautiful! I loved the access from the first floor that takes you straight to the pool and beach. The hotel is a short drive to great restaurants and family attractions.

The staff at the front desk were very rude! They treated us like we didn't belong there. I know we probably looked a little rough after being in the car for so long to get there, but it was not appropriate behavior from the staff.

Everything was great! I wish we would have gotten free breakfast for the price we paid.

Housekeeping wasn't very polite when I asked for towels. I asked for towels and they started asking me questions. Just give me some towels please. I left the sign on my door, so, I understood that nobody could come in. One of them finally gave me some.

The location!!! I picked this hotel for the location and value. I was very happy in that regard! We walked out our hotel, down the pier, and we were right on the beach. The beach was beautiful! We were also very close to a lot of attractions! I was also very happy with the size of our room. It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4.

The pool was much smaller in person then it looked online. In fact, It was way too small in size and relation to the size of the hotel. Max capacity was 20 people! Therefore the water was very hot and and it was very crowded (12-15 people) most of the time.

Direct access to the beach and beautiful beachfront views. Parking was good and the location is perfect. Only a 4 min drive to the Okaloosa boardwalk and about 10 mins from the Destin Boardwalk. They don’t have free breakfast but they do provide an option to buy from their Market or coffee shop in the lobby which is great!

They don’t clean the rooms daily unless you put in a request. We put in a request, left the next day so that they could clean as they requested and when we came back the room was still not cleaned. The front desk then said the staff was gone and could get it cleaned the next day which was useless because that’s when we were checking out.

I had a hard time deciding where to stay considering it was our first time ever visiting Florida. I made a last minute switch from holiday inn to here at Courtyard Marriott and I am so glad I did! Place was in a perfect location, rooms were immaculate, staff was super friendly and very helpful! The pool was warm, the beach was perfect. I loved everything about this stay and we will 100% be staying here again!

The only nit-picky thing is that I wish their bistro was more kids friendly and their Starbucks drinks are nothing like a regular Starbucks, but it’s not a big deal at all. It still was great and thankfully there is a Waffle House less than a minute away for take out! 😁

I loved everything about the property.The staff was all very nice.The hotel was on the beach.The rooms were really nice and clean.They changed our sheets every other day.We loved it and we plan to stay there every year on our Fla vacation.

There is nothing we didn’t like .We loved our stay.

Staff was great from the moment we arrived! Room was cleaned to perfection prior to our stay.

The bed was not the best in comfort. If only they added a bit more padding or some memory foam. But I'm used to sleeping on a pillow type so it is probably just us. But everything was great. Due to covid our room was not cleaned while we were there. If you needed anything they sat it outside your door. Definitely will be coming back. Loved it!!

Great facility and amenities. Very cozy and at a reasonable price. Great location!

Consider a bigger pool. Consider adding a hot tub and sauna.
