Hole Inn the Wall Hotel - Sunset Plaza - Fort Walton Beach

Easy check in, easy check out, no issues with receiving my incidental deposit back. Clean room, nothing special remember this is a budget motel.

Front Desk workers were great. Location was great also, close to everything. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here, and would stay again in the future.

Our only complaints are, the beds were hard and could have been a little softer and that we booked a non smoking room and that's what it said we were staying in on the little plastic sign inside the room, but from the first day we opened the door to the room it smelt of smoke bad. Being non smokers it was really strong everytime we would leave and come back, but we just went to the dollar store and bought air freshener and sprayed the room down. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Everything was pretty clean. Location is nice and staff was nice.

During our 3 day stay there were 2 live cockroaches that I killed and one dead one on the floor when we arrived.. Unfortunately, those things just happen no matter how clean. The room and beds were very clean. Mattress protectors on all beds and the linens smelled of bleach which was a plus. Only true downfall I have is we never received our $100 security deposit back in our checking account. I even cleaned our room before checking out because I hate leaving a mess. Overall, it was a good family stay for a cheap, quick, vacation to the beach.

there is no ventilation in the room, it is very stuffy, there was no cleaning for 6 days, but towels were changed, that's good. The rooms are old and the bathroom needs renovation.

Was affordable and had a pool..close to the water and stores

Didn't care for hardwood floors cuz sand got everywhere . Stayed 6 days and not once did they come ask if we needed cleaned or anything. Had to ask them for clean towels. No breakfast but overall for price it was ok. Just needed a place to sleep basically

It got a little noisy at night but not too bad, the room was a little small but for just the two of us and a place to sleep and shower for the price it was good

The room was clean. Air conditioner worked great. Pool was clean. Had a fridge and microwave.

Very loud. People drinking and dancing in the parking lot until late into the night. The bathroom needs to be updated. The tub is peeling and the shower head leaks. They leave the lights on all night, too much light comes through the curtains. It wasn't as close to the beach and I thought it was but thats my fault for not checking better. It does not have a coffee pot or hair dryer. I would have thought for the price it would have these things.

the room was dirty the sheets and pillow case was dirty the toilets was not clean had urine all over the lid and the toilet paper holder was falling from the wall and when I got in the shower the shower head was broken the water was not coming out straight just all close to the wall were I had to be almost hugging the wall to wash my body,,, dirty towels,, food inside of the microwave its was just a bad day but they corrected all the issues l got new sheets towels and just clean everything all the dirty stuff myself and the nexth day maintenance fix the holder and shower head l actually stay there again after this

It was a very cozy room. the beds were perfect. the room had excellent temperature. it was a two mile walk to the beach so excersise was a huge benefit. very close to the strip and to big kahunas. overall it was an excellent stay.

The only thing that could have been better was the comforter it was very thin but it felt so silky and cozy. other than that i had no issues with this hotel the people were amazing it was quiet and we could see fireworks everywhere.

Staff was very kind and helpful and despite it is a small and economic hotel, it is convenient, and located very close to the beach and restaurants.
