Sun Beach Inn

Nice location, super price, exceeded expectations.

HBH is managing several properties from one desk presenting as various named hotels on Booking.com this is confusing and probably a bit of an exploit/not transparent practice.

The location is 10/10. The room was large. Public space at the hotel is great. Lot's of outdoor space, pool, etc. The staff was very nice. The area is quiet at night.

The room was filthy. I was staying for 10 days so I had the chance to clean it myself. It took me a bout 3 hrs. It was cleaned by the staff as I could smell the cheap lemon cleaner they used. I just don't think they do a good job. So I went to Walmart, spent $20 on supplies and scrubbed the floor myself. The floor was sticky like fly paper when I checked in. Probably the result of long term dirty mop quick cleaning.

Location looked sketchy but was nice. Better than expected. House keeping was outstanding. Those ladies worth their tails off. Right off the beach

Breakfast was awful. Honey buns and bananas. Pointless I didn’t mind paying for parking but then sell more permits than parking spots. During busy times it was hard finding a spot nearby. Nobody spoke English and everyone was smoking weed. I don’t mind recreational smoking but it was excessive

I love everything about the property. A helpful tip, the check in facility is at the corner and the property is literally right by the beach. The property was a little off from the pictures but it was still a decent place. I only say this because the tables were worn and the room was painted all blue but you can tell it needs another paint job. Honestly they were very small issues. The room overall was beautiful. I would go again. I stayed at Sun Beach Inn was room 6. I had pool view. The little bushes block a bit of the view. if you don’t like being waken up by people enjoying life in the pool 7am then don’t get the pool view. lol. I didn’t mind it though.

I didn’t like that the knobs on the stove were broken off, which made it hard for us to cook. Not to mention we only had one pot. that was it. lol but again, small things. I highly recommend this place. so peaceful and it’s next to the beach.

large bed. had the basic necessities. it was in front of the boardwalk and the beach. you can see the water once you step into the road in front of the hotel.

not much to dislike but I didn’t realize the parking was an extra payment. it is beach front property so I understand but I thought everything was paid for.

The location was great for getting to and doing things on the Broadwalk. If there for relaxation, no need for a car. Steps from the beach. Transportation options available to navigate the Broadwalk. Plenty of food options available. Having a microwave and fridge definitely helped with leftovers and keeping beverages cold. We loved it and will definitely be back. Looking to make my reservation already.

Towels were definitely thin, and comforter was coming apart. So perhaps updating in that area.

I enjoyed the room location. It was very close near the beach(short walking distance) and not far from all the high traffic areas on the boardwalk.

If i had to say one negative thing about the room is that it was entirely way to dark. There was only one lamp in the room and the ceiling fan light was a bit dim.

The king size bed was great! The room was clean and modern. It had a range top, full fridge and all the amenities you need in a kitchen. This was a nice surprise because I thought it just had a fridge. The shower and walk in closet was amazing. Plenty of room and very clean!

We liked everything! The massage soaps was a nice touch as well!!

It was a convenient location for access to beach. Staff was very accommodating. Bed was comfortable

Could use a little paint updating. With the dim lighting, place was a bit drab (a coat of fresh white or lighter color paint would really enhance the appearance). Update towels, they were very worn

Very close to the beach. the pool was located just down my stairs. And great food and entertainment not too far either!

Our water was turned off because of a water leak and no one was made aware of this. I was able to see the work crew and asked them about it. For breakfast there was only hard boiled eggs. GROSS!
