Caribbean Resort by the Ocean

Location is perfect of course. Room space was just comfortable enough for two. Very convenient to have a full fridge for keeping food and drinks, though the kitchen amenities were pretty bare minimum if you wanted to make something- a few random glasses, a coffee mug, little cutlery/cooking utensils etc. Staff was accommodating and helpful when we had concerns. There is parking onsite though paid separately. Beach towels were available at the front desk. We had two a/c systems in our room, we only ever ran one as it was plenty cooling.

A bit dated. Bathroom is quite small, minimum space to place personal toiletries, etc. Pillows weren't great. But nothing that inconvenient honestly; would stay again if the price made sense.

Very clean, up to date, comfortable bed, the kitchen area has everything you need for extended stays. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The Tiki bar was fun they have entertainment every night. They also serve food if you are feeling hungry. We liked having the Tiki bar right on our property after a long day at the beach it's nice to be close to your room. We will definitely be back and stay here again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like with our stay here. Our friends stayed at another, more expensive place and their rooms were not as nice as ours. Their air conditioning was sub par, rooms were smaller & their kitchen area is part of room not separate like Caribbean by the Oceans kitchen are seperated. They said they would have rather stay at Caribbean by the Ocean.

We were pleased with how close the beach, restaurants, and amenities were. The kitchen was well supplied. We were pleased to be able to buy a few groceries and use the kitchen to make a few things for ourselves to be comfortable. The beach was clean, secure and well maintained. It was delightful to use the pool. Noise settled down around 11 and that is reasonable. The service man who came to adjust our tv was prompt, polite and resolved our problem. The housekeeping team worked hard and was attentive. We were grateful to check in early. Thank you to the office staff for allowing us to leave our luggage behind the desk and take a stroll until our room was ready and after check out until we left for the airport. We also thank them for printing out our boarding passes. Perhaps the hotel could rent beach chairs or umbrellas, at a more reasonable price, to their guests.

While the a/c did a great job it was rather loud.

It was a perfect small hotel! I walked in and out of the room without being stuck in a large building with halls and elevators. The room was comfortable and had everything needed for staying an extended time if needed. Unfortunately I was only there for a day - I would have gladly stayed much much longer. I will definitely stay here when I get back to the area and recommend it to family. The beach was a minute walk if that, across the street pretty much. I was happy the location was a small walk from the area the band was playing so it was quiet for sleeping.

Hotel is on the ⛱️ beach. Walking distance to restaurants. Rooms are smaller, but the kitchenette is a nice convenience when traveling with a family. These rooms have double beds with a pull out futon. Rooms and bedding are very clean.

The rooms need to be aired out. They have a damp smell to them. The gas oven in our kitchenette Room 215 would not stay lit, so I couldn't cook the food I bought. I had to carry it downstairs to the other room we had. The futon needs to be replaced in one room. It was so uncomfortable that my 11 year old refused to sleep on it.

location, location, location!! close to beach and restaurants. a tiki bar on site. and a casual outdoor sitting area with picnic tables - loved it

not deal breakers; but if I didn’t like something I’d say; the oven didn’t work - I wanted to cook a pizza - love a midnight snack once in a while. the kitchen could have been a little better stocked with a strainer and spatula. it was pretty tight to get in the shower.

the location is great, just one block from the beach. Quiet place and rooms comfy , good value for money. there was a small kitchen and refrigerator, well equipped room.

the wifi didn't work on my phone but on my boyfriend´s did..so i supposed it was my phone..I tried several times, I didn't reach reception with this since I was staying only one night, probably they would have fixed it.. it doesn't happen to me very often..though. The air conditioning was right above the bed...if you are a person who is not used to sleeping with a.c , don't put it in fan position lol, just find out another way, if u love being cool and chili at night,then no worries!

Next to the Boardwalk ... and steps away from the sand...has a Tiki bar ... though limited hours ..AND my second time staying here...quiet

Location and the staff were excellent and our room was smaller than we expected but had everything we needed. Also we loved the "Live Entertainment " at the Tiki bar, which gives you that vacation feeling, plus they were really good!! Definitely going back and will bring friends.

The only thing we can say was the room was a bit smaller than it looks on the website but it was all we needed as a couple. The only problem we had was the room didn't have any USB ports, we had our plugs, but surprised that there isn't any USB ports to charge your electronics.
