Fairfield Inn & Suites Jacksonville Airport

My bed was very comfy. Didn’t get breakfast too many people

I was very disappointed with my checkin the associate was very kin and friendly and he tried his best. Booking.com was a disaster. I literally paid for my stay before o arrived but once there o was told to use another form of payment which I did not understand if funds was already taken. It was embarrassing so I used another type of payment. It’s just a lesson learned never prepaid for your stay until you actually check in.

When we arrived there was a lot going on. Lots of flights had been cancelled and the front dest was bombarded with people, calls, etc. Your desk attendant, Angelina, was the best ever. No matter how much chaos was going on all around her, she kept her cool, servicing everyone with a big smile on her face. Even the people calling had to be able to hear in her voice how well prepared and capable she was. If I could rate her on a scale of 1 to 10, she would definetly be a 50. Please let her know that she made a wonderful impression on 4 very weary travelers. If we ever come to Jacksonville again, your hotel will be our Number 1 choice. By the way, this hotel was recommended to us by a frequent cruiser who stays there a lot.

It was clean the staff at check in and check out were very nice, professional and the only ones I engaged in my over night stay.

The heating and air conditioning unit would not cut off when the off button was engaged. So, I unplugged it. The toilet kept running after flushing it. I didn't like finding out after getting back in bed that I needed to jingle the handle. As a home owner I've experienced this toilet issue, but, not what you want to experience in your tired from driving hotel stay. The friendly front desk workers were a pleasure!!

The toilet was stopped up when I arrived and the toilet was dirty. The bed's are not comfortable at all and I have always been able to get quarters for laundry but this time it was not a possibility and both of the phones in the room didn't work and nothing was done with them. And the toilet was stopped up and nothing was done with it until the second night I was there.

Location was great. Everything you could want is there in the River City area. Overall breakfast was good. One day things were cold, but after that, it was all good. Our first room had an issue and they moved us to a suite for no extra charge. It was wonderful. I would definitely recommend a suite if you are staying more than a day or two.

I like the close proximity to the airport, good layover to catch cruise ship, lovely rooms and quite spacious, comfortable bed and nice shower, also love the laundry facilities provided along with an area to print boarding passes for guests, nice restaurants in the area, Ruby Tuesday, a Steakhouse and Denny's...all within walking distance.

The property needs to implement rules regarding the laundry, as some guests are very inconsiderate to others

Location near airport was perfect. It was also close to I-95 for our trip home. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, hotel was quiet. We particularly liked the coffee at breakfast--the bold roast was very good. I also liked the oatmeal and the nuts and fruit with it.

Really, I can't think of anything that was a problem.

Loved our stay at the Fairfield Inn. Very convenient to 95 and to restaurants. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable. Hot coffee in the lobby 24/7!

Our TV didn't work when we checked in so our room had to be changed. For our inconvenience we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. The suite had 2 TVs (!!) that worked perfectly. It was lovely. Thank you!

The room was in an excellent location and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was a nice size and very comfortable

Nothing to complain about other than the TV in the bedroom area didn't work during our stay. However we didn't make a fuss about it because we had the living room area TV as a back up

Angelina at the front desk for check in was a pleasant surprise. Personality was the best. The maintenance man had a great personality too.

The idea that it was Super Bowl Sunday and the game was being broadcast in Spanish. I know it was beyond your control but it was very aggravating. I couldn't get my phone to pair with the TV to use my app.
