Best Western Plus First Coast Inn and Suites

When checking in 2 customers were complaining their air didn’t work - 1 lady said she sweated so much her sheets were wet and maid service never went in to change them. Front desks response was I’ll give you sheets to change them yourself. Then when I stepped up the girl saw my expression of no air working and said she’ll give me a discount. When I called weeks later about a discount I was rudely told I already paid and the girl should never had said that. Needs better customer service!!!

I'm very big on staying at BW they never fail you with the quality for the amount paid. Breakfast is always good there. It was the same for this stay. The staff were friendly. There was always someone there cleaning which made me comfortable. I was a bit sceptic with the 18 wheeler trucks parked out front but I watch too many movies like trafficking and last seen alive. Lol. No seriously they delivered. I only stayed one night so I didn't access the pool business center or anything like that! It definitely was clean and comfortable.

I requested a handicapped accessible room. The bathroom was well-equipped with sufficient grab bars to meet my needs. It was also on the first floor near the entrance. The complimentary breakfast was hot and plentiful. The room was clean and well-equipped. The location of the hotel is conveniently located near the Interstate.

The lady in charge of the breakfast area kept it well-stocked. However, when things were running well she sat at one of the tables reading her phone. It seems to me that she should have made some effort to appear busy or, at least, done it out of sight of the guests. She did not give the impression of an engaged employee that I would have wanted to see had I been her employer.

The hotel was modern, clean, with a very accommodating and very nice staff. The morning breakfast Buffay was a hot breakfast, which is always a plus. Overall, a Great Hotel at a very reasonable price.

there really wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. our primary purpose for being there was to go to the beach.  the hotel is 13 miles from the beach, which is a little far, but we knew that ahead of time.

Hotel staff is amazing. Sadie the lady at the front desk was friendly and competent. The hotel is nice, comfortable beds and pillows. Decent size room. Pet friendly but well kept. Everything was clean and fresh. Housekeeping was awesome, friendly and accommodating. It has a bathtub which a lot of hotels are doing away with. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

The hot water could be a little hotter but thats just my preference. My husband thought it was hot enough and had plenty of it.

The property was clean, appeared recently remodeled (or really kept up with), pool was clean, nice complimentary breakfast.

We could hear peoples dogs barking all night the first night. Second night someone’s child was crying for hours. My “major” gripe was we booked a room with a pull out couch and it wasn’t available upon checkin.

The location was greatright off 95 the hotel was clean and well groomed. The staff was awesome from the front desk to the kitchen staff on breakfast duty. I will stay again

The water was luke warm never got hot hot. Drainage in the sink was poor and the room was little warm with AC on. But these mini set backs would not interfere with my next visit once I notified the hotel of my issues they were address right away and handle very professional I will stay again

Breakfast was hot and good. The hotel was new, so my stay was much better than what I expected of Best Western. Modern designed clean room and very friendly staff. She even gave us water to go when leaving!

Nothing. This was an excellent short stay on my way to Amelia Island. I wish I had stayed here the whole time.

Everything was good except we usually stay on 1st floor and this time we were on 3rd floor and the bed was not comfortable and when we arrived our room was hot! The air was turned off so it took awhile for it to cool down

The bed was not comfortable and the room was hot when we arrived. I booked two weeks in advance so don't know why they wouldn't have turned the air on so it would be cool when we arrived.

Accessible room had plenty of grab bars in large bathroom. At breakfast, the coffee machine ground the beans for each cup of coffee -- very delicious. Nice breakfast, including bacon and eggs. Staff were very helpful. Usual room size/furnishings.

The a/c didn't quite keep the room cool, but it was comfortable.
