Tranquility Bay Resort

This is very peaceful place. The apartment was very comfortable and the setting was gorgeous. The temperature of the pool was perfect. It was a great experience to explore around the Gulf swimming beach. The food at the Tiki Bar was excellent. We tried the Cuban sandwich, the fish tacos, and the chicken quesadillas. And the views from here were even better than from our room. We loved sitting on the back porch and upper balcony to enjoy views of the pool, grounds, and the Gulf. We took time to walk next door to the Turtle Hospital and took the tour. Great experience and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend this for all visitors.

A little more effort is needed in the 2nd upstairs bathroom (hallway) to get the mildew off the tile grout in the shower. All other areas of the apartment were spotless so this was a bit surprising.

The tiki bar was awesome

The taxes at checkout. County fees, destination fees, extra resort fees, all the extras nickel and dime the hell out of our stay, which was disappointing. Plus the front desk staff didn’t charge my debit card during the week when I went into the lobby to ask them to charge my card so I wouldn’t reach my spending limit on the day we checked out, so I had to go through calling my bank which took forever. All of this could’ve been avoided if they had just followed through with what I asked them to do during the week.

Very clean and beautifully landscaped. Nicely laid out with 3 large pools and a Tiki bar.

The housekeeping department wasn’t very good. They were very slow to drop off clean towels and empty the trash. We didn’t need the room cleaned every day & stayed out of the room one time all day & returned at 4 pm to find that no one had come to our room. This didn’t equate to the standards of the resort & it’s fabulous restaurant on the premises. Our room was on the second floor & there wasn’t an elevator to use to get your suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.

this was truly staying in paradise. the unit felt private while still feeling like it was part of a community. the grounds are gorgeous and clean although slightly difficult to navigate at times. the beach is the most pristine beach we stayed at throughout the whole keys. we were there during seaweed season and stayed at 5 different resorts from key largo to key west. this was by far the nicest and cleanest beach. they have an area roped off to keep debris and trash off the beach. the beach has a gradual slope so you can pull chairs right into the water and relax. they have a great tiki bar right on the beach and a great variety of water sports from paddle boards to jet skis. it’s great for any group whether you’re with a couple, family, or friends.

there is no valet or anyone to help with luggage. I’ve machines are difficult to locate and the maps have no numbers. once you familiarize yourself with the property it’s easy to get around

We had a beautiful 2 level suite, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms and outdoor seating on both levels. You have your choice if outdoor pool or direct access to a private beach. There is a beach bar for casual dining or a fabulous restaurant for more formal dining.

There is nothing to dislike about this resort.

Beutiful resort! Room was large, view was amazing. Close to the beach. Beach chairs provided! Great drinks from the Beach Bar. Only complaint I have is we did get extra beach towels the entire visit and the microwave and mini refrigerator were very dirty inside. I chalked it off to new staff? Since Covid, I have learned to be extra easy on staff anywhere. They have a tough job and they are dealing with understaffed issues. Be kind!! We dealt with it! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This resort was nicer than some Caribbean resorts I've stayed at! Been to Turks, Bahamas, Cayman, St Thomas, and Tabago

Beach, Pool, Sea ... What wasn't there to like. The place was clean and exactly like the pictures online. The staff were friendly and helpful and able to recommend places locally. We stayed here for four days at the end of a three week trip round Florida from the UK. Would recommend to anyone going to the Keys to check this place out.

The only complaint we had wasn't about the resort just some of the people that stayed, they seemed quite happy to leave their things lying around for others to clean up. The hotel staff did thins very well bit just feel that they shouldn't have too. In any other place we stayed people did seem to clear after themselves, just here it appeared to hard for some.

Thr clean pools, clean beach, peacefulness,location.

My oven was broken the whole stay.we didn't find out until after we bought oven only groceries for quick lunch and dinners.went to front desk 4 times for a resolution and kept getting told someone would contact me.no one contacted me.when checking out they automatically deducted 400 for the troubles but it would have been nice if we were told this info before checkout. We were thinking the whole time,we bought groceries to go to waste and now we're having to go out to eat every meal which is even more money. Im grateful for the compensation bit would have been nice to be told. Also,room service broke our basil polish and makeup pallet and rings the doorbell Like its a dang emergency at 830am.ding ding ding at least 25 times in 30 seconds. Calm down.

Location was wonderful, housekeeping staff was excellent, rooms are lovely and clean. Beach and pools were superb. Tiki bar mojitos are on point! Liked the iguanas and landscaping. Versus other resorts including sister properties this was a superior value.

Parking- spaces are very close together and not easy to navigate. Beach/pool umbrellas are largely in disrepair. There was a storm while we were there and no one came out to secure the chairs and umbrellas despite plenty of advance warning. Finally, there’s a great Tiki Bar/grill but no servers. They would sell more if a server made the rounds to beach and pool guests.

The villa room was spacious and gorgeous-for the most part things were really clean. The curtains to the balcony were dirty on the back of them which wasn’t noticeable until we opened them-looked like they were pulled through the mud and ketchup was on them. The washing machine never shut off on its own-it would get stuck on spin and we eventually would have to turn it off. The dryer squeaked loudly. We asked for some towels and coffee to be delivered to our room and hours later asked again before someone delivered them. We were there for our wedding so we had dinner in the Butterfly Cafe. Our reservation was wrong but the manager quickly resolved the issue. The food and service were wonderful. Would definitely stay again-only minor issues.
