Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Northwest/Oldsmar

The Staff is AWESOME!!!!! Stayed about 2 months actually so you get to see the inner workings. It is a flawless operation, great location, ALWAYS accommodating, walk to restaurants, Tampa Bay feel and surrounded beautiful neighborhoods. CLEAN. Nice outdoor garden sitting area separate from pool & kids. QUIET. Suite has 2 TVs & HDMI plug in w desk & plenty of outlets. Good storage. Pullout couch. At the top of the bay halfway to Tampa, halfway to St Pete. Easy to get everywhere & close to malls! Recommend!!

Smart TV doesn’t display time, channel or movie playing. You gotta guess. Bring Netflix or Amazon Prime. (Does have Sports Channels). Rooms a little dark curtains don’t open fully.

The hotel and room were clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. Surroundings were great and quiet. The check in clerk was very friendly. No free breakfast.

Main complaint was the free coffee machine in the lobby was out of order from the time I got there until I left (4days). They could have provided another way to get coffee during the day,eve. They didn't.

They have a lot of different restaurants near by, also everything was clean

I didn’t like that I was told two different things on how much money would be held on my card. I was told I could authorize night by night instead they did it for more than one day and knocked my card into the negative .... 6 of us we’re paying. So basically I was in negative until I got back to illinois. The owner came up with a solution of checking us out and paying cash and then checking us back in, which was great but I still was In the negative :(

Room size,location,pool.Breakfast buffet was excellent! Pleasant staff.

Cut arm on bathroom door lock which was not filed down properly.No first aid kit so had to go and purchase supplies.

Very close to our destination we were visiting.

We had an issue with the billing. The hotel charged my credit card for the stay after we had already paid booking.com. Had to contact Booking.com to get the problem resolved. Found it was an issue with the person at the front desk not knowing the process for charging Booking.com.

The cleanliness of rooms. The staff especially Kathy and Anthony in the restaurant. I recommend that you stop in for the 10.95 breakfast even if you choose not to stay here.

Towels were available sparingly because some rooms kept coming down to ask for new ones.

The staff was friendly and nice.

The room was smaller than I thought it would be. I expected the Hilton to be top notch elegant. The furniture isn’t a modern look. I did like that big chair though.

Room was quiet and spacious. Loved the pool area with the hot tub. The breakfast area was amazing for a grab and go type of breakfast. Good variety. I would stay again.

At check they ask you if you want your room taken care of by housekeeping. We said yes. They failed to convey that so our room did not get cleaned while were there during our stay. No big deal.

Location was fine, not all items were hot and fresh at breakfast. Had to pay for breakfast even though I am Rewards member be wise I used a third party to book reservstiont.

Food hotter

The room was very clean and the bed especially comfortable. Pillows excellent. I slept very well. Overall I felt safe and comfortable. Location great as there were several restaurants within walking distance. Most of the staff were very nice but clearly some did not want to do anything but hide in the office.

The tv channel choices were disappointing and so was the working of the channel changer. They should have had a printed channel lineup of some sort. I know things are difficult with covid right now but it could be printed and thrown away for each check in.Breakfast was almost nil- Coffee was there and plastic wrapped muffins and granola bars. They really could have done better. It had to be taken back to the room and it was hard to carry it....
