Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Northwest/Veterans Expressway

I loved the location, cleanliness, and feel of the entire venue.

There was not any kind of complimentary breakfast or coffee in the lobby because they have an in-house starbucks. I paid 22$ for eggs, potatoes, toast, large coffee- none of it was great. Great news is Kiki's breakfast spot is less than a quarter mile away and they're amazing.

we had to change rooms while we where there, original room smelled like mold or someone previously had a accident in the bathroom that got on to the carpet and the carpet still has moisture in it but staff was very understanding and changed my room immediately

I enjoyed the convenience of having a place to eat inside the hotel. The employees at the reception desk were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The clerk on the morning of 11/6 at 8AM deserves special thanks. She helped me with my transportation back to the airport so that I didn't miss my flight.

I wish there could have been 1 or 2 items on the menu that were gluten free. Also, I like to take the earliest flight I can which can cause conflict with checking in. I knew this before I arrived. Since I hadn't rented a car, I wanted to spend some time by the pool to relax. Since I had no room yet, access to the pool needed the clerk to open the door. It would have been nice to have a "dummy" card with access only to the pool until my room was ready.

The property is new-ish and was convenient enough for our daily commute to the North Tampa/Carrollwood area. There is a large shopping mall and plenty of restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel is surrounded by woods and a part of the Upper Tampa Bay recreational trail. It is Quiet at night and a very comfortable room and bed.

The on site cafe and bar appeared to be closed more often than you would expect (one morning another guest even asked me if there was breakfast available), but keeping in mind the location of this hotel, it isn't a location that lends itself to bar/lounge socializing. The pool and patio area is nice, but located on the west side of the building, it could use a little more shade from the sun.

The hotel was okay for a Marriot. The rooms were comfortable, and the facilities were in good condition.

- Breakfast is not included - There were kids making noise at 8am - The hotel is a little bit flexible in their quiet policy. One night, some guests were outside in a bonfire, they put music and were talking loudly.

Brittany and Esperanza were spectacular. My first day I had an issue with my payment and the cost of additional but Esperanza went out of her way to find me a deal for the remainder of our stay. She was a life saver. Brittany was more than generous with her time during check out and was very welcoming to all customers. The hotel staff was very pleasant overall and the hotel was very clean. Very quiet and easy access to highways, stores. There was a liquor , gas station, publix and Walmart within 3 miles of the hotel. Highly recommend

I don’t think all your bottle of wine should be 40.00. lol we checked in late, I wanted a small glass before bed. I bought entire bottle which was really good. (Thank you for the fridge to put the rest in) but 40.00 was a bit much. 25.00 was reasonable

nice gym. nice bed. nice shower and shower head

issues with internet. did not like that I needed to pay more for better internet. breakfast not included. limited high priced options. there for 8 days and only cleaned one time after I asked the front desk staff male individual 3 times. no Ethernet plug in. small room. no microwave. did not replace used glass.

Location was easy access to interstates and downtown Tampa. Setback off off the road, which contributed to the quiet setting.

There was not a continental breakfast. Restaurant menu not kid friendly, and very upscale compared to traditional breakfast menu.

The gentleman in the front desk was a little rude when I was checking in. Looks like he is not to people friendly
