Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa, a staySky Hotel & Resort Near Disney

location was perfect, convenient to all parks and we could see the fireworks from our balcony every night at magic kingdom and Epcot which was cool. the kitchen was equipped with the basics. pool area and water were clean too. grocery store and shopping outlets were right behind hotel as well which was very convenient.

unit was dated and smelled a bit musty. the pirate plunge showed age and wear, fountains were not operating.

Paid extra for Fireworks facing apartment, we were in 8th floor but could not see fire works. Also advertised as 2 miles from Disney… but is more like 6 miles. The furniture in apartments are dated but the hotel is very clean and well maintained

Good location with shopping and grocery stores in walking distance. The pool was nice and the rooms were spacey. They had small store with a Pizza Hut and an Irish pub on the property.

They charged for extra towels and cleaning services. Our jet tub had particles shoot out when you turned it on. The rooms seem a little dated and the mattresses need to be upgraded. One of our toilets stopped working the morning we left. They only give you two trash bags.

We rented two bedroom apartment. Myself, wife and three boys (under 10) had an amazing time there. There are two good size bedrooms ; master comes with Hottub Jacuzzi , a closet room , toilet room and a bathroom - which was excellent. Kids room wasn't attached but the washroom was just next to their room, very convenient. Kitchen is loaded with plates, cutleries, and some cookware - more than enough if you would like to do light to medium cooking. When you open room, it goes directly to guestroom, which was good in size and it's an open concept apartment. The balcony view was amazing (pool view) but after pool its some type of swamp but that wasn't a deal breaker at all. Stacked washer and dryer was super helpful, so had to take only very less number of dress pair. Carpet was old but it was clean. We had a good time there and will surely go back next time. Oh one more thing, the location was very close to Disney, just 15 minutes drive and lots of shopping centers near by as well. We travel world wide and in my view, this place was amazing. The staffs were very courteous (99% Spanish, but they know EN very well) and one lady at Disney counter (I think her name is Deb, originally from Texas) she was super good. She knows places very well and make sure you talk to her to plan your itinerary. OH DANG! I forgot the main thing - the pool - it was freaking awesome. I am 6.1 feet I turned out to be kid again when I slide through that big boat slide - it was super cool. Big clean and nicely kept pool with loads of towels etc. It starts from 0 Feet depth to 5 feet, so kids are safe and most of the time I saw one lady sitting and watching and making sure everyone is safe. There is a tikibar next to it too.. Pretty cool place altogether.

We reached 11 AM , checking was at 4 PM. Requested is there any possibility to check in earlier, the manager man told no. Made the payment and left for shopping , was bit tired as it was a long journey from Canada. Then we went at 5 PM he told the apartment was NOT ready, was bit upset but a Spanish lady manager came and she right away gave us another apartment. This is the only thing I didn't liked about my stay but it's quite normal and not holding against them as manager lady was very intelligent and courteous as she gave a better apartment. My card stopped working one time, they fixed that as well.

Complimentary upgrade to a 4 br suite was fantastic. Quick drive to all parks. Quiet resort without the hustle and bustle.

The bed was noisy. When you moved it knocked the wall. Not enough chairs in the living room for a 4 br suite only a couch and 1 chair. In the rooms with 2 beds you could not close the doors unless you pushed the beds towards the center of the room. Not a big deal, but odd.

We stepped on 2 straight pins in the carpets. One in the mastersuite at the end of the bed and another at the entrance to the second room with the king bed. That seemed really odd.

We loved everything! The accommodations were wonderful !The beds were very comfortable . The kitchen was well stocked. But the best part was relaxing in the jacuzzi tub every night after a long, exhausting day in the park. We also liked playing pool in the game room and sipping cocktails at the pool in the evening.The location was also great and the value for the money can't be beat. We went to a different Disney park each day, and each one was less than a 10 minute drive. I just wish we had booked our stay for two days longer so we could have lounged around the pool for the day , visited the spa, and shopped at adjacent outlet mall. It was also very convenient that Walmart was so close to stock up on groceries and our forgotten necessities.Next time we come to Orlando, we will stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa .

Great location to just about everything. Quiet area. Easy check in and out.

There were no wash cloths in the room on arrival and had to ask for them at the front desk. Furniture in the living room area was very worn and old looking. Beds not very comfortable but doable.

The location was great for the parks, shopping, and having pool and kitchen were great. The rooms are big and we had enough room for our family. Having the restaurant and store across the street was great. Being able to get a quick bite after a long day at the parks was easy for the family. Overall, we had a good stay and would stay again. Just hope they start updating some things.

The pool needed attention. it should have been skimmed a few times a day. Also, the slide was closed most of the time. The dishwasher was completely beaten up, and maintenance had to come and reattached to the cabinet. Rooms were functional but really need to be updated, we did have an ada room, but because it is ada, you still in a door for the toilet and some kind of curtain or door for the shower, water went everywhere.

The location is perfect proximity to stores, restaurants and to all the amusement parks. The pool is a lot of fun for children. The rooms are very nice and are like a small home away from home. It was really nice to have two full size beds in one of the bedrooms instead of two twin size beds. I loved having a full kitchen that was fully stocked because it saved us money and time by cooking in the room.

#1. The sliding glass doors for the balcony had a high metal bar that is a tripping hazard and caused my granddaughter’s injuries to her nose and face and busted her lips when she tripped on that metal bar and face planted on the balcony!!! That metal bar is atypical and therefore people don’t expect to have to raise their feet up 4 inches before stepping onto the balcony!! There wasn’t even signage to warn people to watch for the metal bar! Day one in the room and we have an injured child because of that metal bar. #2. The balconies aren’t screened in which makes sitting on the balcony uncomfortable. And it could be a possible falling hazard. #3. Not enough parking available.
