Red Roof Inn Panama City

The associate that checked me in was very professional. Whenever I would ask a question her answer was very positive. Very knowledgeable. Having just retired from a hotel in Naples, Florida as a GM and front desk manager, I was overly impressed with housekeeping. Housekeepers are the heart of any hotel. This hotel was no exception. They were always very helpful. The gentleman working the breakfast was sensational. Very friendly and kept the breakfast bar full. The older lady that was consistently cleaning the area with mopping, etc. was also very friendly. Finally, the Front Office Manager, David Gomez, is an asset to your hotel. Very friendly and always helpful. He, and a member of his staff were always at the front desk. That is very important, as many hotels have members of their staff in the back office waiting for someone to enter the lobby area. This is the result of a very good General Manager. Everything reflects upon Peter Smith. Thank you Mr. Smith for making my wife and I having a great stay and also to your entire associate team. A FIVE STAR staff. See everybody again in a month. It was very comfortable and clean it was in a great spot I loved the King Suite with the jacuzzi tub that was the best

Just the other visitors smoking right as you come in the door. IT need better tv service more stations for rainy days.

The property and room was very nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Very secure and safe place to stay. We will definitely be back.

The pillows! Lol I’m not typical a picky person, but the pillows were the worst I’ve ever laid my head on. This would have been corrected if I would have asked for different pillows. but I didn’t so I can’t really complain.

Bathroom was a little bit small (sink), but otherwise, it is fine. Breakfast, I would like apples, instead of too many muffins and sweet pastries. Wi-fi is weak. Maybe you can install some wi-fi extenders in the hallways, etc. (I normally, do not bring a laptop on vacation, but I needed to on this particular visit, and I found the wi-fi connection annoying). The AC unit needs a wall thermostat instead of the unit itself. The AC unit runs all night.

Location, price, comfortable beds, A/C kept the room cool, room was clean, breakfast choices were good for a continental breakfast, staff was friendly. Liked having a coffee pot, refrigerator & microwave in the room.

We would have liked an extra chair in the room rather than having to sit on the bed. The room had only one rolling chair at the desk.

I like how clean they maintained it, with coming through each morning to change out towels and trash for us. The room was very comfortable and nice, a lot better and cleaner than I expected it to be tbh. I didn't really eat the breakfast, but it definitely had options! There was also ice and vending machines you had access to. The staff were always really friendly too! The front desk people to the house keeping to the maintenance. Everyone was nice and helpful and that was really appreciated.

I didn't like that the trash cans in the rooms were really small, but that's just because we produced a lot of garbage with snacks and a pizza box and stuff, so I understand if not expecting that and wanting to keep it easy to change out, especially since they were doing so every morning. The location can be a bit annoying if you plan to go out a lot, as most of the things are about 20+ minutes away, but that's to no fault of the hotel. :)

Hotel was very clean. Main advantage was location; we made the trip to check on potential rental properties for our son. We had quick access to all parts of town. Hotel was quiet when it needed to be and allowed us adequate rest. Staff were very nice.

Need to upgrade the morning coffee; the Bunn dispenser, or the operator, didn't make a good, flavorful cup. Free breakfast could have been better as it was advertised as an attraction. These are minor points, however, as the hotel is very affordable in an otherwise pricey location. The bed was actually pretty comfortable for a hotel bed, but like all hotels, not as good as at home.

The staff at this Red Roof Inn from the on-site manager down to the person removing the trash were friendly, professional, and truly team-playing individuals. They exhibited enthusiasm in their assigned job. All staff personnel were willing to go out of their way to make you stay at the Red Roof Inn as comfortable as possible. I will stay at this Red Roof Inn again if I travel to the Panama City, FL area.

It is understood that any motel/hotel in a resort/beach area will be somewhat expensive. I thought the Red Roof Inn at Panama City was somewhat overpriced for a two star motel. Although the breakfast was included in the overall cost of the room, the variety of food could be expanded.

Our stay was fantastic. This place is very clean. It was quiet as well. The staff was friendly and Lorine? is a real sweetheart. Our main reason for choosing RRI is that they are pet friendly and do not charge extra. We will definitely stay here again.

They only thing I did not like and it is Not the hotel's fault is the lazy inconsiderate pet owners who cannot and will not clean up after their pets. The poop bags are right there and the dispenser was full. No excuse for that.

The rooms are clean!! The hotel smells clean!! You can see & hear staff cleaning EVERYDAY with a smile. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is very safe and central to other businesses in Panama City, FL. Close to the beach-just a straight shot down Hwy 98 or 23rd St.
