Holiday Inn Express & Suites Quincy I-10, an IHG Hotel

I am from the area, actually 5 min drive down the road. Traveling from California, just needed a few nights because with all my siblings returning home, parents home was PACKED! Haha. I always see the hotel when visiting home but never needed to stay there until now. I was slightly curious as to the up keep inside. I was proud that the hometeam has maintained the property. It was great honestly. Breakfast included each morning, clean and the hotel smelled great. Definitely recommend! Granted, if you're not from the area, our city is really small. All the food restauraunts are about a 10 min drive uptown, and Walmart is only a 3 minute drive from the hotel. ZERO traffic, so no concerns there!

This motel is so clean and beautiful it is a joy to stay in. The staff was friendly and polite. The only issue I was was the water pressure was not that great. I get stiff when driving long distances and a good hot shower helps loosen me up. Everything else was great. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast and amenities. But beware, there are no restaurants open in Quincy on Monday. Lol. And don’t eat at Captain D’s. Disgusting food.

The gentleman at the counter. We walked up and stood at the counter for 15 mins he was right by the very first door talking to the manager in their office.. he made eye contact with me after I turned around and just looked at them waiting to be greeted. Said do u need something.... Well yeah sir, to check in. It's not check in time. When my phone said check in was 2pm... " It's changed bc of covid" well sir you should update your stuff I'm only doing what I'm told.... Did not appreciate that at all. It was our WEDDING NIGHT. my family also said the same thing. The people here aren't that nice. Sad when you have people spending 300+ for 2 nights and I can't even be nice.

Well I could tell you the beds are so comfortable it was so so clean the Staff was wonderful thank you so so much I really appreciate you be blessed

I just wish they had more of a selection for breakfast and the pancake machine a waffle machine was broken but she informed me of that when we checked in other than that we had no issues and the machine and a big issue at all either the service is a bigger issue for me and I'm thankful for that that they all went well.

I was impressed with the hotel from the minute I walked in the door. I was greeted with a pleasant smell and the staff were all friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great as they had gluten free muffins! This was a pleasure. The lobby was decorated for Memorial Day and this was appreciated. I would stay again and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

Aside from all the above, the lady working the breakfast area was the best representation of excellent customer service I've seen anywhere in many years!! When most places would be telling you no, we're closing, she made time to work out a glitch in the pancake machine for my grandson and me. A guest prior to us had looked for bacon but it was all gone - it was breakdown time but she gladly made him some bacon (that he shared with us), perfectly crispy, not overdone. She had a great disposition about her; voice, manners, smiling! - great customer service.

The personal was great! The rooms were clean. We have made there a few times. We love the third floor rooms. Great service!

We don't like first floor rooms. We checked it late and was assigned a first floor room. It was not acceptable. The staff was great about getting us another room the next morning. The room assigned then was on second floor. We truly like third floor better.

Our stays at the hotel is always great! The staff is great! The house keepers are great! The maintenance person also great. Breakfast is good. I love bacon. If bacon is offered as part of breakfast ,I would always great!

The breakfast was wonderful. Even though we did not use the "frozen dinner options" from the cooler, we would have if we had stayed longer or known in advance. This is incredible helpful as a traveler with unknown timelines and potential Covid restaurant closures.

We had to park our small moving truck far away from the room. The window shades did not open. Since my daughter's entire life was inside the moving truck, we would have liked the chance to check on it visually.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating! The beds are extremely comfortable and there is complimentary shampoo: conditioner and shower gel! The breakfast is delicious! You will not walk away hungry!

The fan in the bathroom is louder than I thought: only because we checked in very late at night, I worried about waking the other guests.
