Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East Brandon

The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed that the was not a cookie cutter hotel. Needs a little updating but PLEASE keep the bathtub and shower for those women who need more space and a place to prop our legs to shave. Stand up shower…HELL NO!!!

Breakfast is very pricey. We get breakfast at other hotels with lodging. We are here for a soccer tournament. Cannot be paying $12-$13 x 3 every morning for breakfast. Not realistic, nor is this hotel the caliber to charge so much for good. Plus, we tried several times to go to the bar for a drink and it was never open. If you cannot enjoy a drink in the evening and go back to your room so you don’t have to drink and drive, what’s the point.

The people were exceptional, really enjoyed our breakfast with Harold and the front desk staff we're friendly and as accommodating as they could be. The courtyard was beautiful and everything was very clean.

Biggest issue was with booking.com, we did not get the room we originally ordered, the staff tried to do the best they could to make it better for us but the beds were not that comfortable. Keep in mind our needs were different than most we had four people in a room and had to resort to a rollaway bed. The rollaway was hard and you could feel the box spring through the small mattress.

Easy access to highway. Clean property in a quiet area. Housekeeping was responsive and I felt extra cleaning measures due to Covid were done well. Nearby traffic was minimal. Staff were very friendly.

The king bed platform has hard corners so banged my shins a few times. Would’ve been nice if there had a been a pair of firmer pillows in addition to the soft ones.

A working clean bathroom

The lady at the front desk said the card reader machine only took tap pay. My cards are not set up for that. My partner was becoming irritable with the waiting while I tried to turn on the tap to pay option. And a line was growing behind me. However, I then had the idea to ask her to use the card on file. And then she was like "oh yeah, that's a method I could do." She really needs to work on customer service and problem solving.

We really enjoyed the pool area. Not overly packed with people and the water was always nice. Awesome grounds area with a lot of shade from the trees. Multiple areas to sit outside and not feel bothered by others. Staff was phenomenal! Although there was one young man who looked at me and shook his head because my flip flops were ever so slightly wet coming in from the pool. He didn't think I saw him and I would've confronted him had I not been there with my young daughter. However, the other staff was great and extremely helpful. Overall a nice stay and would visit again!

The only downsides we're the bed was pretty stiff and seemed a little outdated, the water drained extremely slow in the shower and the weatherstripping one the windows was gone so it didn't allow the room to cool to temperature during the day, however it didn't get hot.

The location was very safe and quiet. The staff was friendly. The onsite restaurant had excellent service and the food was very tasty. I was extremely pleased with my choice and would stay there again and again.

My bathtub drain was clogged so I was showering in standing water, The tub did drain, but it took a while. The hallway was not as fresh as I would have liked and my room had artwork on the walls that was a little distasteful.

The location for this hotel is just perfect. it is right off the highway but it doesn’t look or feel like it once you’re there. Every staff member was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was clean. The pool was big and the area around the pool was very nice. I was very impressed for the price I paid for this property.

The people across the hall had a party at 345am, there were 12 people that went into the room. I called down at the desk and he said he would handle it. I had to call back down at 450am because they spent the last hour opening and shutting the door, which slams shut. When we left at 815am they were still partying. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and apologized, which I appreciated but it wasn’t his fault. I wish they would have a policy if you’re disruptive to other guests then you could be asked to leave.

The staff were amazing. Even with my group's request at 2 in the morning, they were extremely nice about everything. The pool was nice. I didn't pay for the breakfast but it did smell good. The bed was great. The room was spacious. Bathroom was nice too.

The shower had strands of hair closer to the edge of the tub near the handle so it kinda made me feel like it wasn't cleaned thoroughly because the type of hair I have, wasn't the same hair on the tub. So, I knew it had to be there before we arrived. Not a big deal though, only like 3 strands.

Nice location very quiet, lovely landscaping. The hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful. There is a limited menu cafe in the hotel and the food is fine, not fine dining but a good quick meal with some decent choices. The hallways are well kept.

They should really not turn the air conditioning down to 71 the room was freezing and wastes energy. I think if they set the room at 76 they could save a lot of money and guests would be just as happy and could adjust down. We actually turned on the heat so we weren't freezing. Also the bed frame sticks out and we kept whacking our leg on it. Seems pretty dangerous actually.

Loved the remoteness of it. Very pretty area. I had just cut short a stay with a hotel where we found a live roach and so this was a quick booking that was a breath of fresh air as we got a very reasonable rate and it was clean. We got a, nice greeting when checking in, only a few little things that I was not thrilled about but overall a nice stay. You learn to appreciate the small things in life...like no cockroaches. Very nice room.

They told me they don't clean rooms unless you request it. I asked for them to come in and clean one morning as my daughter had dropped a few crumbs on the floor. I was told they would come in and "freshen it up". Wife had already cleaned up the crumbs and I saw no signs that they did anything. I would prefer that they clean rooms, make beds and, upon request, you could choose to not have room service. Seems like a way to save a buck and then they frame it as that it's for your convenience. Just thought it was a bit lame. They know most people are not going to be trying to call the front desk everyday to get their beds made and rooms cleaned. The pool was freezing cold so we never used it. Kids love swimming but it was way too cold.
