Budget Inn - Saint Augustine

Loved the location. It was an easy walk over the bridge to the "Old Town." We could also walk to a laundromat and there were several restaurants quite close by. The hotel managers were so kind and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the over-sized mini fridge and microwave, a table with 2 chairs, large walk-in shower. Compared to other hotels in the area, the price was reasonable.

The walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors like they were in our room. Had to wear earplugs to get any sleep. No counter space in the bathroom; would have loved some kind of shelf and a hook to hang towels. The shower curtain could have used a wash.

this was a really comfortable and friendly Inn. the room was clean and comfortable with a decent shower. had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. great location. lovely walk across a bridge to the historic town, but also plenty of eating/drinking places around the Inn. fresh market nearby as well if you want to eat in or make use of BBQs provided in their lovely outside seating area.

walls are a little thin, so you can easily hear people talking in adjacent rooms, but as long as you have respectful guests it shouldn’t be a problem

Staff/owners were super friendly and the room was extremely clean and fresh. We stayed at a couple other hotels on our trip and this was hands down the cleanest facility of all we stayed in. The room was perfect for our needs, and the location right across the lion's bridge from St. Augustine made walking into town just a great experience! We will definitely stay here again on future visits!

There was no breakfast available on site, but that may have been due to Covid restrictions, which were just in the process of being lifted at the time. But for this price, we can certainly get our own breakfast elsewhere...

The photos they show of your room actually matched what you got. The room was small, but very clean. The owners evidently spent money on remodeling the entire place. The outside was freshly painted, the parking lot had been repaved. The bed we had was a king and extremely comfortable. The shower was a walk in with a great shower head. We would stay again!

The staff was really friendly and helpful recommending a place for breakfast etc. It was a great value and the fact that we could walk over the bridge and visit Castillo San Marcos and all other things close by was awesome. not having to drive and find parking was a very big plus. actually the walk over the bridge was enjoyable! will definitely go back again

It’s close enough to downtown St. Augustine without being in the middle of everything. Despite being so close to the road, I was surprised at how quiet it was. It’s very affordable. The orange and green trolley will send a shuttle to pick you up at the hotel and back, and into the trolley route. This trolley also has a shuttle to the beach. The managers, Mr. Sam and Ms. Bobbie were very warm and friendly. I will not look for any other place to stay in St. Augustine next time I come back.

Nothing. I was very pleased. It is not a five-star hotel, but I did not pay for a five-star hotel. I have no complaints.

The hotel was within walking distance from the historic district, just right off the Bridge of Lions. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

The shower was really big and worked well. The check in was easy and staff very friendly. Location was excellent just a short walk to downtown .

The air conditioning never shut off, the fan which was in auto mode ran constantly even thou the temperature was satisfied.

The room was clean and the location is pretty nice. When I visit Saint Augustine I prefer to stay on the other side of the Bridge of Lions so I can walk wherever I choose to go. I stayed at the Best Western the first 2 nights. I moved to the Budget Inn for the 3rd night as the price had gone up too much for a Friday night at BW. I stayed at the Budget Inn as I was planning to go to the Farmer's Market at the Ampitheater on Saturday. This is my second stay at the Budget Inn and I'm sure it won't be my last.

Everything was fine. I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

For a motel, room was in good shape. Free bottle of water, practically full except for a small sip that someone enjoyed.

A few cockroaches in room. Leftover coffee in the But, hey, it's a motel right?
