Hampton Inn & Suites St. Augustine-Vilano Beach

We stayed in Room 225 this visit. The location of the property is great, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is yummy! Edith is a gem! We come back to see her because she makes you feel like family and puts out the best breakfast with the best smile and conversation! Our room was clean. The parking was ample.

The bathroom needed some minor repairs (a tile missing near the bottom of the wall and the toilet was shaky/rickety and made a loud clanging sound when someone sat on it), but it was clean. It would be nice if there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Maybe in the future.

The breakfast was great a typical continental breakfast they switch out bacon one day for sausage another. The location is perfect if you are wanting to go to the beach it is right there and if you want to go to historical downtown or the lighthouse it is just a few miles away and even with the tourist traffic the drive time is not bad.

A king size bed would had been nice or a recliner chair. A table to eat at, since the room had a mini fridge and microwave. It had some cosmetic issues the ceiling had the popcorn coming off. The water had to be shut off for a few hours so they could make repair. The whole place needs a facelift. The room did get damp when the ac would cycle off.

I loved the location, is literally in front of Vilano Beach in a quiet neighborhood. There is a Publix and a couple of restaurants around where you can go walking. The Hotel is perfect for families and couples. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was really nice and attentive. The breakfast was ok but I believe it can be improved by adding more proteins and fruits. The best of all is that they are pet friendly and our dog really enjoys the stay. Overall super GOOD. I will definitely recommend it and of course, We'll repeat it.

Towels were thin and didn’t dry. The nite in the room said our room would be cleaned and ljnens changed every four days. So we just put up with it. When we finally asked at reception we were told we could have asked for more frequent service but there was no way for us up know that. Everyone was helpful snd tried hard to make up for it. The pool was not heated and therefore I couldn’t use it.

I loved the area! And it's only 10 minutes away from BUSY downtown St Augustine. The hotel backs right up to the beach and there's a nice shopping plaza literally right across the street that has a Publix and several beachy gift shops. Vilano Beach is new favorite place within Florida

The phone in my room didn't work and the new towels that Hilton/ Hampton uses now are 60% cotton 40% polyester, cheap and thin compared to the 100% fluffy cotton towels they previously used. And I know this because they still have some of the old towels in circulation, you just have to hope and pray that the maids give you the old version instead of the new. Trust me there is a noticeable difference if you compare them side by side.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was great.

I booked a oceanview 3rd floor bit what I got was a 2nd floor Oceanview. It was my birthday and I wanted something special.The staff they couldn't promise what floor that was the booking problem. Also they had to replace my toilet and work was done on my door during my stay. All very inconvenient bit the staff did their best to make it good.

I liked the cleanliness and space of the actual room at this property. The pool and hot tub was a big deal also my kids enjoyed it a lot. The beach was walking distance from the property and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

One of the cleaning ladies completely ignored me when I asked for an extra towel for my family. She rolled her eyes and kept talking on the phone. some other lady came up and gave me her full attention and immediately gave me a towel.

This hotel is in a great location. Away from the main area across the bridge but close enough to all the fun. We enjoyed the restaurants on the island and they were great. The accommodations were very, very comfortable and the staff couldn't be friendlier. We loved being near the river on one side of the island and the Atlantic on the other. Both a short walk. It was the perfect spot.

Quick and easy check in friendly staff I was at the pool with my baby and they even offered some pool toys they had in the back I thought that was very kind and thoughtful. The complimentary breakfast was really good. The hotel was at a great location you literally can walk to the beach, and just a 10 minute drive to historic downtown. We will definitely be back

WiFi service was a bit slow

Room was absolutely amazing! made me feel very special! My service dog was very welcomed, which means a lot to me! Around the clock coffee was much appreciated. Breakfast was awesome. Very friendly staff

CANT THINK OF ANYTHING I DONT LIKE - I enjoyed my stay much more than I expected ! I chose this Hotel because I am traveling with my service dog and found you on internet me and my dog felt very welcomed!!
