The Cozy Inn0

The Cozy Inn is spotless and comfortable. The ambiance was exactly as we expected. Several attractions are a short 5 minute walk. Make a 20 minute walk to the fort, bay front, shopping, and the entire historic district. Tours were easily accessible and transportation shuttles are available for those not wanting to make the walk into town (for a fee). Scooter and cart rentals were less than a 5 minute walk from the Inn. People were out walking all hours! We will visit again.

The queen sized sheet did not remain on the bed as it was not deep pocketed. Housekeeping was great so it was perfect when we returned each evening.

We appreciated that this motel was so close to all the places we wanted to visit. We also appreciated that the room was very clean. This place is very cute... has great 'curb appeal' as they say.

"Cozy" is code word for "size of a postage stamp". LOL It's a very clean room, but it's very small. The most important issue for us is that there was virtually no internet access on laptops. I walked over to the front desk (no one picked up the phone) that evening. After knocking for a bit someone came to the door and stated it was because of the storm that had passed through, but we had only 1 bar of internet access earlier that afternoon, before the storm ever arrived. So if you need wifi for a laptop during your stay, you'll have to find Starbucks or some other solution because on the property there is virtually no wifi.

Our stay was great. All very organized and clean. Really five minutes from the old city center. The receptionist gave us a map which made our tour a lot easier. We parked where we paid the daily rate and did our walking tour. Only the lighthouse is far away on foot so we visited it on the way home. The lighthouse has free parking.

We like everything. I just want to make a suggestion. There could be the salad bowl for us as there is a kitchen. We had to improvise using one of the pans. Just for information this did not influence the quality of our stay.

What breakfast? I didn’t know about it. I brought my own anyway. It was super clean and I like the hanging plant look. Plus the manager John answered my many questions about the area, an the lady lent me a cube to plug in my phone in my room. I consider them bonuses over the top!

Hm, the only thing I can think of - the shower handle was a bit hard to turn. I did it with lots of effort each time. It was the best stay I’ve had in FL yet!

I liked the location and check in and check out were very easy.

I had panicked about the low water volume in the toilet the first night when the toilet wouldn't flush and called for the manager around 8:45 pm. There was supposed to be a manager available until 9 pm. By morning, I realized that you have to wait several minutes between flushes and it was ok. No one checked to see if everything was OK but it was so it turned out ok.

Cozy is an apt name. This is a 50s size throwback that is well maintained and charming. Everything is small. Small bathroom, small shower. It is wonderfully maintained and there were no issues with the room at all. Overall it was an excellent stay. Wonderful towels.

The toilet seat would not stay up. Hits the top of the counter. First thing in the morning I am in the middle of urinating and the seat begins falling. I try to catch it, and end up peeing on my foot and the floor, having to clean the floor and wash my foot before getting things to take a shower. Not really upsetting, kind of funny, but be aware!

The room we had was basically an apartment. It had a full kitchen with an ice maker, which was so convenient. The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The room is not so modern but has a homey feel to it.

It would have been nice to have larger televisions. This is just a minor thing though

It was clean comfortable and convenient to alot! Super nice and friendly staff too! And dog friendly was the big plus! We will definitely be staying again!

Having all hot water was an adjustment but if you ran it a bit it got cool but not a big deal just kinda weird!

The room lived up to the name of the hotel. It was quite cozy. However, this is not a room you want to hang out in. The room was a bit small and the TV was on a bad wall for watching it. On the positive side though, it was very clean, they provided plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap, face soap, and had a hairdryer on request. The room also came with a decently sized small fridge. It was bigger than your standard mini-fridge, big enough for decent-sized bottles to be stored in. On top of that when we arrived we were greeted with a list of pet-friendly restaurants and tourist locations so we didn't have to guess where we could go and take our dog. The manager was friendly and pleasant as well. Overall, if I ever need to stay in St. Augustine again we would stay here.

Cute rooms. Kinda small but all we needed. Very clean. Everyday when we left for the day we came back back to fresh towels and bed made.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I could never find an ice machine at the motel. Most motels have a ice machine
