Hampton Inn & Suites Tallahassee I-10-Thomasville Road

Parking was easy, the “Het there” on the entrance was welcoming, parking was close to the lobby, staff was friendly and helpful, check in was quick, entire room was immaculate, bed and pillows were very comfortable, it was quiet, I didn’t hear a single door slammed shut or a single kid running and or screaming down the hall, breakfast offered plenty of variety, was quick and very convenient, water, coffee and tea were hot, check out - emailed my receipt. What more could anyone ask for?

I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I always stay at the Hampton in Tallahassee when I travel for work.

Breakfast is great- so nice that it’s served till 10 am. I love the waffles

The carpet in the room was a little sticky and dirty- had to wear flip flops to keep stuff from sticking to my feet- but my stay was during summer and this is often the case at hotels during the high season- I still really appreciated the other great things about my room- great beds and bedding, nice toiletries, good location with restaurants I can walk to- will definitely stay again

It was easy to find and easy to get where I needed to go around Tallahassee. So location was great.

The beds were a little hard and kind of hard to get a good night's sleep on. Neighbors were a little bit out of control the last night of our stay trying to get into our side door in between the two units. When we were in the hotel room and trying to relax and seen as though there was very little to choose from on the TV. But beyond that overall decent stay.

The desk clerk was clearly in training, but was friendly and polite. There was somebody to help her but she was manning the phone so there was just the trainee and 4 groups checking in at once. There was a Suite Shop where you could buy snacks, beer and wine and other minor things. The room was huge and exceeded my expectations. Bed was clean and comfy. We had a sofa bed too and it had a regular mattress so there was no bar in your back. I wish there was a full set of sheets and comforter in the closet but there was only a waffle blanket. The AC worked great. It was really hot out. The hot breakfast was clean, organized and staffed by really great, friendly people. After my last Hampton experience, this was great - a 180 difference. I would love to stay here again.

I wish there had been a full set of sheets, pillows and comforter in the closet for the sofa bed. When you sleep on the sofa bed, the AC blows right on you. Some sort of deflector would be really nice.

Check in process was very quick, which I liked. The location was great given its proximity to I-10. My room was clean and homey. I stayed for three nights, but my room was not cleaned during the entire stay.. This was fine with me. Because of the pandemic, changes had to be made with how they do the housekeeping, which I completely understand. I did run out of shampoo, so I asked the housekeeping lady to give me some more. Breakfast, though not the same as it was before the pandemic was still pretty good. The Lady at the breakfast hall kept everything in order and refilled/ resupplied. She was very welcoming and courteous too, and that is always a plus. Thanks for making my stay a pleasant one.

The location was great for my needs and the staff is always smiling and friendly. This is the second time in a month staying here and I will return.

I requested a King Size bed this time through my reservation and once I arrived, I was told there were forty-two rooms available but did not receive a King Size bed for me and my spouse was a little disheartening.

Breakfast was good..hot meal was good. My wife liked the waffles. The coffee was superb and the best I’ve had at a hotel..

It’s understandable that the room wasn’t visited due to Covid safety and I’m guessing limited staff….luckily we didn’t use all the initial towels provided. I should of asked for a bag to store the used ones along with the overflowing small garbage can. I checked out early and the clerk was unable to provide me a receipt as I had used Booking.com. Booking tells me I may have a 30 day wait on the credit to my card.

The location of the hotel was very good and easy to get to FSU as well. The hotel lobby and breakfast area was sufficient and nice.

As far as the room goes, I would update the carpet. The brown carpet made it feel very dark and not as clean.

did not use the breakfast bar. I eat out.

I do not like the that rooms are not cleaned daily . the prices go up, but the service goes down. I was alone, but I cannot image how a family could stay in a untidy hotel room. The room was clean and neat upon arrival. I LOVE the beds, but I do not want to stay in a hotel that does not change my linen and towels at least every other day. When will this go back to normal?

Location was fine. The best were the two front desk ladies who were very friendly and helpful.

Being now a pet-friendly hotel now, the odd dog smell in the room made request another pet-free room. It was disgusting.
