SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western St Marys Cumberland

The breakfast was good and different hot items were offered each day. The bar attached to the hotel was nice and there was live music one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It wasn't clear if housekeeping would service the rooms and on what type of a schedule. My room was not serviced during my stay. This wasn't a problem, but this should be published somewhere. There was no light in the back of the room which made it a bit dark.

Breakfast wonderful. I love the waffle maker. All eggs/meat fresh cooked. Room and serving area very clean and many choices. Close to 40 highway but still quiet and very scenic with trees. Staff all very nice. Left a nice tip for housekeeping.

All was perfect, except.... The quality of the toilet paper was pitiful. I had to use tucks wipes to do the job. The paper shreaded and fell apart. For reference, I use Cottonelle at home, but even Charmin, Northern, and the other one don't shread like this paper did. Thanks for listening.

I ask rooms close they wher I guess one on top one on often I had ask close and not far towalk they put two of us in one building and other building forty rooms apart also rooms not ready both time we stayed had to wait three hours went to sleep on lobby couch they said new gril but they had room ready she didn’t even check tell I went back to desk for fourth time

We were on the second floor and the building does not have an elevator( we took extra kitchen items and food) so should state on their website so that older people know to request the ground floor. Lot of carrying suitcases etc up the stairs.

location price the staff I dealt with upon checking in was outstanding she was patient with me and helped me with my reservation because it had not shown up on her computer she was very friendly showed us how to get to our room. Told us everything the hotel offered that was included with out stay at no extra cost

I loved everything about this motel

The staff. There was one woman in charge of breakfast, who was especially helpful, with getting a station on the television, figuring out a technical issue with one of the workout machines, and just generally very helpful and kind. I'm sorry that I didn't catch her name, but she was working on Thursday morning, April 7th.

I booked SureStay because it had a pool and a pool table. The pool was out of order and the pool table was not available, so that was a disappointment.

Staff is the main gem of this SureStay! We were initially put on the second floor, but stairs are extremely difficult for my husband. On the second morning of our stay, we were moved to a ground floor room. Although we had to pay extra for the remaining 2 nights as the only room available was a suite, we got a good deal. And...the staff was very accommodating! Hotel location is perfect for us. Breakfast was on-the-go due to covid, so we didn't partake as that's not what we expected or like. The hotel is undergoing renovation and we look forward to returning.

Our bathroom floor wasn't the cleanest, but I think the renovations will improve that. Also, there was no can opener. We couldn't eat the soup we had planned for supper! :-)

I had made a mistake when booking because my Aunt could not walk up the steps after we had already checked in. I had to go back to desk and was told she didn't have any clean rooms for my exchange, we were also a couple hours early but she found one it was perfect.The room was wonderful the grounds are beautiful perfect to walk your dog she loved it. It was peaceful felt safe and very clean. The waffles are the best!!

The only bad experience was I was told I would not be charged for the extra fee for my Dog when booking but when I arrived they were going to charge me anyway. After showing her the email saying no extra fee for my request to bring my dog she waived it. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Dogs are not allowed in main lobby or pool.

Average/ Could have a better selection of cold cereal (ore healthy) and the hot cereal was terrible/ stuck to hot bowl and not cooked and extremely dry.

Mattress was terrible. Felt like I was sleeping on jello. NEED A MORE FIRM MATTRESS

Everything! The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything you’d need and more. The staff was extremely nice. It was all in all wonderful!

The coffee machine in the hotel room halfway worked and the coffee didn’t taste good but that’s all hotels.
