Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Smyrna, GA

The location was great! We were in town for a concert and this was not too far from the auditorium. The facility was nice and the breakfast was good. We were staying for two nights. The first night we came back from the concert and ran out to get some snacks at a convenience store down the street. When we came back the fire alarm was going off they were evacuating the building. There was a fire in the building and they called the fire department and they came it took almost 5 hours for them to find the source of the fire give us the ok to go back to our room. Our room and clothes smelt like smoke and they had opened the windows in our room to help clear the the smoke out. The hotel did only charge us for for our second night that we stayed there which was much more restful. Overall the hotel was nice and convenient to Atlanta and a decent price.

The room was very pleasant, clean and good size. The breakfast was very good indeed with both hot and cold options (coffee was very good unlike some places). Staff were very pleasant and helpful as best they could.

Sadly the swimming pool was not available and we booked based on there being one to use. We were never advised it was not in use prior to payment so we could seek elsewhere. Please be aware this is an older construction hotel and the floors produce a lot of noise from the room above - this affected our sleeping. Great they have laundry facilities, shame no change at reception!

Staff members are friendly and helpful. Home away from home because we had a fridge and microwave in our room. Not too far from Downtown, restaurants, attractions and shopping malls.

Sofa slightly dated, swimming pool didn’t really look attractive but these are minor points which will not stop me from visiting again. Will be good if management will look into improving these issues.

Aside from the challenge of getting anywhere in Atlanta, everything bout our stay was excellent! Bonus - Sausage gravy and biscuits at the breakfast. This in a time when many motels/hotels are still citing COVID as a reason the skip offering any breakfast at all despite it being shown as part of their offer.

The traffic. Ridiculously hard getting into Atlanta. Trains blocking GPS suggested routes? Hard getting to the Aquarium. Challenging getting back to the motel. Still a chore getting out of Atlanta at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning!?

Location and staff. Seven was absolutely amazing. I spoke with him about my delayed arrival and he assured me that it was fine. Upon arrival I was greeted by Mr. Seven and he was very friendly. He gave me all the information needed. Mr. Seven gave my kids cookies which put a smile on their faces. The bedrooms were clean along with rest of the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. If I could rate my stay 100, I would.

No extra bedding for pullout couch.

Friendly staff from check in to the housekeeping ladies. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Would recommend to others and even stay there again.

Breakfast selection could have been better-bacon or at least regular sausage instead of turkey sausage. Bathroom is where the ice bucket was located. Not the ideal place to put a food storage item. Bathroom could us an update but all around great location for the value.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We found the hotel easily and it was in a good location. Convenient to the interstate and some other local places we wanted to visit.

There was a smoky smell throughout the 2nd floor hallway. This was not a deal breaker for us but very noticeable when we stepped off the elevator to the 2nd floor especially and when we left our room.

The location is super convenient, easy off & on the highway, lots of places to eat nearby and fuel up before you head back onto the highway. Had a little glitch as we booked online and learned they were overbooked when we got there after 10pm but they were amazing getting it sorted and putting us in a suite instead. The night manager, Seven, was really friendly and exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was really good.

Nothing-it was all good.

Staff was exceptional, room was clean amenities were great. Fridge and microwave is a plus especially with children.

The bed was not comfortable too firm. We were next to a room that was extra loud talking and had tv loud till 3am walls are thin and could hear every word then those guest were in the hallway talking loud at 630am woke our 2 year up then at 730 my husband knocked on door to ask them to quiet down they didn't open door and just said we can't hear you so my husband loudly repeated they have been loud we have kids in next room trying to sleep still no response. So he went to complain to front desk no results yet. Other than rude room neighbors everything else was good for our 1 night stay. Recommend some softer comfortable bedding.

Arrived at the hotel, a little earlier than checking, and the lady at the front desk let us check in early. She was very helpful and accommodating. The room was big and spacious and the breakfast was really good eggs bacon, waffle, iron, cereal, etc. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again

The pillows were soft and lumpy need better pillows
