Wingate by Wyndham Atlanta Galleria/ Ballpark

We were in town for a concert and it was a great place to stay. The room was large for a single king bed and also included a sofa bed. The bathroom was large too. The A/C worked really well and kept the room freezing for the hot days.

The property has terrible parking. Not enough handicap parking and not the best access from the road. The room was great but we noticed that the carpet felt damp at night maybe from humidity. The bathroom sink also drained very slow. The only other thing that was bad was we were told they had a shuttle available for us to use to get to our venue and then a few hours before our concert they told us the shuttle would not be running which caused an inconvenience for us.

We took the shuttle to the game. We were told we could catch it back before 11. 20 minute intervals back and forth until 11pm. We waited and searched and couldn't locate it. It was 10pm. We had to walk with our little kids. I don't mind walking, I do mind walking late at night, in an unfamiliar location on a really busy highway with my little kids. We weren't happy about that. There should be a designated spot to wait for a ride back to the hotel. Probably won't stay here on our next trip for a game. Would definitely stay for family get away

Great location if going to an Atlanta Braves game. It is in easy walking distance to the ballpark. Bed was okay and the Dove toiletries were great!

Only one elevator was working and it was very slow. It also needed maintenance, because it sounded as though it was on it’s last trip! Very unpleasant to hear strange noises coming from the elevator you are riding in. Also, the breakfast was just okay-nothing to brag about!

The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast certainly did the trick to fill us up before a big day. The location is great. We weren't staying for Truist Park this time, but they aren't kidding when they say it's close. You can look out the front door at the sign for the stadium. And for our purposes it was right on the interstate so heading downtown was quick and easy too (or as easy as Atlanta traffic can be).

There really wasn't anything I was concerned about. If you're looking for a five star resort this isn't your place, but I had zero concerns for this as a comfortable and clean place to stay on a reasonable budget.

The two staff members at the front desk when we arrived were great! Very friendly, conversational. The beds were super comfortable.

We asked for a room on the opposite side of the freeway, unfortunately that's not what we got. The traffic noise is terrible. Woke up the next morning, looked out the window and there was an individual standing in the parking lot below our window smoking weed. Not a good look, but I understand it's Atlanta. Otherwise we were happy with our stay.

We enjoyed breakfast both days we were there and it was great. It was in a great location to the ball park. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Exercise equipment was terrible. Pool looked dirty. We did plan on staying at the pool to swim during the day, but had to change our plans. Went to top golf instead, but that was a major win so I'm not complaining.

I love the location. by the braves stadium where bars and stores are located only walking distance. only took us about 9 minutes to walk . it was kinda late so we hung out at a bar. Wendy’s is like literally in the parking lot lol. also it was minutes away from the Cobb Galleria Mall. I book this hotel every time I go to Atlanta. oh and I stayed 4 nights. everyday we sat our towels outside the room door and they came in to clean our room , make beds , take our trash , and replace our towels without being asked. breakfast was good as well.

The location of Wingate was perfect! Close to Truist park, the mall, delicious restaurants and the interstate. All my interactions with staff were friendly and helpful. They had a lot of breakfast options that my kids loved. Would stay here again.

Beds were firm, hallways were heavily perfumed and the pretty sure there was a burger wiped on the wall next to my bed. Walls probably aren't something they clean regularly but it was gross laying in bed and turning over to see that.

The location of this property is excellent. The hotel is right across Cobb Parkway from Truist Park and the Battery Atlanta. If you are planning on seeing a Braves game, this is the place to stay! There is also a free shuttle that runs between the hotel and the stadium on game nights. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are pretty big. The beds are comfortable. Near restaurants while a Waffle House in the parking lot.

The breakfast is a hot breakfast but its average at best. There is only one very small trash can in the room so trash can pile up fast. Bring your own garbage bag!

Room was very clean.

The desk clerk was not friendly. First she couldn't locate my reservation after giving her my ID. Next, she asked for card to charge a deposit but never advised the purpose of the deposit or notating that the deposit will be returned. The next morning the same desk clerk was there and I handed my key cards. She never asked how was my stay or did I want a receipt. I had to request a copy of receipt.
