Moxy Atlanta Midtown

Location was good right in mid town close to plenty of restaurants. Check in was pretty fast and the free drink casino style token was a nice touch.. The bartenders on the rooftop bar High Note were excellent “Ashely”served me and my wife she and her co worker were really busy but they handled it like real pros with a smile on their faces for the guests the whole time despite being swamped with orders..

Two things only I must mention The dj booth could be further away from the guests the rooftop bar is not a club so why not just pump the music in through some speakers on a set Pandora playlist.Then the DJ’s music was kinda loud it was played a little too loud for the setting maybe not all the guests staying there want to hear hip hop music the whole time and super loud when we’re there to relax in the pool or have a drink n conversation but instead was drowned out by the loud music that played for hours on end.. The bartender at the check in desk didn’t give me a receipt for my drink when my wife used her free drink token that was weird that bar was far from busy who swipes a card n not print a receipt for u

very comfortable laid-back atmosphere with a lot of amenities. Most hotels do not offer. Love the vibe at night coming in from dinner with friends. You’re always welcomed with a DJ and a nice crowd of people for some additional drinks. Love the games everywhere. Definitely always stay at a Moxy when I travel!!

unfortunately, there was a wedding party staying in the hotel while me and three other friends were there. We lost a lot of sleep a few nights because of the wedding party being so loud and inconsiderate of other people staying in the hotel. We did make a complaint to the front desk, and they were very accommodating and did end up, moving us into a different room with sincere apologies.

parking was a mess. we checked in. Wanted to go in and out. Said they would charge the 24 hour rate to our room and validate our ticket to go in and out. Said gate would automatically open as we exit by reading tag. It did not. Finally security came to let us out. Next morning when we left again we explained what happened. Said they’d fixed the problem. To just pull up and gate would open. It did not. Had to get security again. This was very annoying and time wasting. I have no idea what they didn’t do correctly twice. But we did exactly what they said to do.

It’s was a nice hotel And room very clean the noise wasn’t unbearable the shower was incredible

The hotel phone in your room the front desk didn’t have anything in the room or the front desk did not notify me that there was a 75 cent fee per phone call even local it didn’t state anything about an additional charge for phone use I think that’s crazy ash honestly when you are paying for a room at damn near 500$ plus because parking is 30 a day if you include it with your stay otherwise it’s a flat rate of 15 when you come and go every time

The woman at the desk (@ 9am Saturday morning) said I couldn’t have my room cleaned unless I was there for three days. I told her I was staying for three days which she finally confirmed bruskly. Yet, my room wasn’t cleaned. I asked again around 1pm. Again, my room was never cleaned nor towels replaced. Likewise, the first night I realized our blow dryer did not work. I told the guy at the front desk who said he would send someone up. The person who came up did not speak English well and had no idea what we were talking about. I think he thought he was sent up to look at something for the air conditioning unit? It took three tries before we could get a blow dryer that worked.

The interior decorations were amazing. Very Art Pop and modern. Including inside the rooms as well. The service was great. When we checked in they offered us a token to use to get a free drink. The service at the bar and drinks, the music, atmosphere, and games made this a really fun stay even with my 5 year son.

Clean, very nicely designed, with a great outdoor swimming pool in a great Midtown Atlanta location. Staff was friendly too.

The room doesn’t have an actual dresser or closet. There are hooks on the walls for hanging clothes, and the idea is that you see your hanging clothes all the time on expensive looking hangers. This is very common now in cute, trendy hotels like this one, but I’d simply just love to see an actual dresser with multiple drawers and closet! There’s space for them, and this minimalist trend will past.

Moxy is fun, apartments living hotel rooms. It’s clean but I will say they need to clean between the shower doors. Other than that they are great.

To sum up my stay...Beautiful hotel, perfect location, rooms were a good size, bed was super comfy, views of the pool/outdoor sitting area were beautiful, staff wore mask, housekeeping doesn’t clean your room due to covid (which wasn’t a problem for me) but they will bring fresh towels if asked, $28 parking in the attached garage, beautiful pool, very quite hotel (warning:Sunday I noticed that the parking garage was a bit fuller and heard music playing across the street. Come to find out, there’s a restaurant/lounge that had an event. The attendees parked in the garage attached to the hotel. Young black crowd, didn’t affect the hotel at all since access to the hotel requires use of a key. Party started around 7pm and ended around 12am. Not sure why some Guest complained but the hotel was great and I would definitely stay again.
