Matthew at the front desk was exceptional!! He was very helpful and empathetic when my card was declined several times. I had to use alternate payment methods and split the bill, which was quite embarrassing. He went above and beyond to reassure me and handled it like a pro. Thanks, Matt!! Also, thank you to Satoya, who was very professional and cleaned my room so well. On the whole, I enjoyed my stay and had a great time!

The pool area was closed in the middle of summer with the heat. The outside patio, too, was not set up for guests, with several missing cushions. The whole point of being on vacation was to enjoy some poolside relaxation. - I didn't like the fact that I had to repeatedly request to have my room cleaned (3 times) before it was finally done on the 4th day. Cleaning daily should be default except if asked not to do so by specific guests. I also had 2 different cleaners coming to knock at my door and upon learning I wasn't checking out, refusing to clean the room and referring me back to front desk. This needs to be improved.

We were in town for a basketball tournament that was at the GWCC. This was such a great location! Easy to get in and out of. Before you come, do your reviews. A lot of people complained about no free breakfast, but we knew that while booking. Parking is also $22/ night. However, that beats the $40-$50 at other downtown locations. Shay at the front desk was amazing!!! She was always helpful and had the best customer service. Rooms were great and had no issues at all. Workout facility was a plus.

Loved they had a washer and dryer especially since we needed to wash uniforms, but the washer did not work. We just washed uniforms in the sink and used the dryer, not a deal breaker at all.

Nice view of the highway. Couldn’t hear any traffic. within DRIVABLE distance to everything. Very quiet hotel

High price store to buy snacks. No kitchen and Starbucks isn’t open very long.

I was not expecting such an amazing experience...honestly. I stayed for 10 days and was just needing a place to sleep after long days while traveling for work. The location is prime and very private. You do not feel like you're staying in the heart of Atlanta even though you ARE IN THE HEART OF ATLANTA! I could go out into the the city for work and play and come back to smiling faces and a peaceful rest...AND I felt very comfortable walking my dog around the beautifully maintained exterior...and interior for that matter. The pool and outdoor space were exceptionally clean and had a great resort feel and configuration. It's what I expect when I do stay at a few 4-5 stars brands but never get! Excellent job to the team there for providing a 4 star quality of service and experience.

The business center printers were down when I really needed them but they were fixed the next day after reporting it.

The breakfast food and coffee that I was able to purchase weren't bad. The staff was nice and very helpful. It was about a 10 min walk to the nearest train station, which was so convenient for getting to the Mercedes Benz Stadium. We loved the balcony room.

I don't enjoy having to pay for parking in addition to my stay. I do wish there was free basic coffee in the lobby. It was a little confusing that the main entrance wasn't accessible, and when we missed our turn, we had to drive all the way around just to get into the driveway.

Amazing staff. Comfy bed. Nice pool and outdoor area. Nice quiet location worked well for me, short walk across I-85 to restaurants, bars and grocery. Room had everything I needed, ice down the hall. Some people might miss a microwave. Great AC! Large bathroom plenty of hot water, even a little fridge. Starbucks and cafe area was closed maybe still Covid protocol? Cold bottled drinks, chips and candy snacks were available.

The pool seemed a little heavy on chemicals, burned my eyes just a bit. Pillows were not as large and deluxe as other 3 star and up properties (such as Hilton). That said I rate this Sonesta very comparable to some Hiltons at an attractive rate.

I really liked the location who was midtown city need to the whole food market and colony square The hotel was clean and nice(Tv has inside local cables and a Netflix app). At check in they ask you about cleaning request for your stay and even tho I have asked them many times to clean my room the ignored me(one time even said that maitines crew have got home) and just fixed my sheets

The location is great, the staff were also friendly and helpful. The room was clean and ready when we arrived.

The second entrance was blocked off at night but we couldn’t tell until driving up to it. This forced us to drive in a circle to enter in at the first entrance. There needs to be a better sign out to make the first entrance really stand out and for the staff to notify the guests of the second entrance being blocked off at night.

to leave the hotel’s parking lot in a car you need a room key which is probably a mostly fine system but on the morning we checked out while in a Lyft trying to get the airport we couldn’t get out of parking lot. the front desk told us to keep pressing the “call for assistance” button. it seemed to do nothing. eventually the front desk agent had to come out of the hotel in the pouring rain to open the gate.

It was a great stay, Matt was AMAZING! We had an issue with the VRBO house we booked for our family and this was a great find. It was comfortable for my entire family from granny to the kids. The location was great also near restaurants and walking distance to entertainment.

The trees near the pool make me feel it attracts insects although I didn’t go into the pool so I am unsure about the validity it was just a thought.
