Hampton Inn Cartersville

The lady at the breakfast area was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. The oatmeal was very runny.

The room and facilities looked tired. This hotel needs a facelift. From the carpet in the hallways to the furniture in the room. The chairs at the entrance were all stained. I stayed at the Holiday inn Express in Cartersville many times and am comparing it to this hotel. A big difference!

I had made my reservation through Booking.com and they could not find it in their computers. They said they were fully booked . It was 11:00 at night and we had been driving 8 straight hours. I was devastated! However, they did accommodate us. So all worked out. I feel there should be a better system for those reservations getting through to you. I don't know whose fault this was, however it sure put me through an upsetting check in. Thank God it ended well.

Front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping and food service staff went out of their way to offer lots of little extras. (“Here, take a few more clean towels.” “Let me fill your travel mug with ice and get you some fresher apples from the back.” Clean room, lots of parking, nice breakfast.

WiFi connection was a little spotty, but that wouldn’t keep us from staying there again.

It was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Coffee could be better. It was very weak.

There was some construction or maybe water damage clean up going on during our stay. It was noisy when trying to go to sleep.

Location

Stayed on the 3 floor. Above (4th floor) was a traveling school sports team. The clomping of foot steps and the level of noise was constant and annoying. Sleepless night for me.

The bed was comfy and room was quiet. Curtains shut out the light and being set off from the rd keeps all traffic noise down! The location was convenient to 75 and in between Atlanta and Chattanooga (i had to be in both locations)

The girl working the breakfast area is very rude. She appears angry she has to make the food so I suggest she gets another job that doesn't make her so miserable. Its a horrible way to start your day off by being treated poorly at breakfast

The property was beautiful, love the location. I was visiting for a BB tournament. The hotel was fairly close to everything!

I had a great stay. I’m not sure it had guess laundry?

Staff was very accommodating and pleasant during every interaction. The rooms and other hotel areas were fresh and very clean.

Honestly, the breakfast was not fantastic. only other complaint was that the hotel/motel next door was a little sketchy

The breakfast of sausage, egg and cheese omelette was served to us.

Everything was really clean and nice. Our only issue was the hard beds. I have hip and leg problems and was anxious after a long day of traveling to go to bed. My husband and I just had the hardest time getting comfortable because of the bed. They offered us another room to try, but it was just as hard. We realize this is a preference situation, as some people do like hard mattresses.

Comfortable bed. Nice air conditioning. Very clean and sanitized.

There was not a person at the front desk when I arrived nor when I checked out. I called out "hello" last night, and a person did appear from a back office. This morning when I called out "hello," nobody showed up from anywhere, so I just left my key on the front desk. At breakfast, I saw three people eating scrambled eggs, but I could not find the eggs, and I did scour the area four times. The only hot anything I found was the waffle-maker. I had two yogurts, a muffin, and some orange juice...definitely less than I had expected for what I paid.
