The room was cozy (two adults one child). The rooms are in small houses and have a porch and parking space directly a the door. There was quiet in wall air-conditioner, and a small kitchenette with a microwave and some dishes and a fridge. The owner was very friendly and told us lots about the area. He has obviously put lots of effort into the grounds which are very quaint and clean. I can highly recommend this place

It was so clean and comfortable! The moment we pulled into the property, Frank welcomed us. He took us to our room and showed us where everything was in there. He then asked what we would be doing while we were there and gave us a few suggestions for the destinations we planned on visiting.
There was a lot of political memorabilia all around the property. I don't mind, but it seemed to be very in your face. If you put the heat or air on, you either sweated out of your room or freezed. The beds were small if you are a bigger person.

This is a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Everything is provided that you could possibly need. Parking right outside your door. Owner/manager is very friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t ask for more!

The property was quiet and peaceful. We were just a 2-3 minute drive to the old downtown shopping and dining area of Clayton. We were also a short drive to several other towns and points of interest. Perfect location!

HOSPITALITY!!!! Frank is an amazing person who made you feel at home in his place. He runs a business with old school customer care that is hard to find these days.
we could not stay more. we are on a trip that only allowed us to stay for the night and move on. We will be back.

Mountain Aire is an exceptional place to stay. The rooms are clean and Frank is always so helpful. The location is also great with easy access to downtown shops and restaurants. My family and I enjoyed staying there and will be returning soon.

Our cottage was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful deck to sit on and a fire pit. Frank was very welcoming and made us feel at home.
Our only disappointment was the gas fireplace was not working. Frank explained the parts were on order.

We just feel like at home, so comfortable and clean. The owner is also very nice, warm and considerate, in addition to mosquitoes, he soon brought an electronic mosquito repellent, we talked like friends, we will be back again 😃

Amazing little cabin in a cute little town close by to shopping, hiking and cute restaurants. I hiked close by, shopped and ate in a couple cute restaurants all in 3 days. Would visit again.

No breakfast, but the location, room and staff was awesome!! We also appreciated the owner Frank's text welcoming us, we will definitely stay here again.
