Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Valdosta, GA - NEWLY RENOVATED

Hotel was very nice, very clean, newly renovated. Breakfast was decent, beds were so so. Not the best not the worst.

First night was great. We had found our new Valdosta home away from home, Until night two. there was a large group who came in for a baseball tournament. Ruse and inconsiderate was an understatement. I understand you can't control who checks in but you can control who stays. THE HOTEL WAS WELL AWARE OF ISSUE WITH THIS GROUP AND DID NOTHING TO ADDRESS THEM. We got no sleep because they literally sounded as if they were tearing the walls down next to us. The next morning all we got was an I know and they can't come back anymore, nothing to try and easy the pain of $200 restless night and ruined birthday trip. I did send emails prior to this review but they were not answered.

The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. I also loved that you had an individual swimming pool.

We liked everything. There wasn't much that we didn't like. One of the things that I didn't like was that there wasn't fresh towels every day. I would have loved to have seen the bed made and the trash picked up in the room every day. I had requested a shower chair for our room. I can't stand very long and that would have helped me take a shower every day. I didn't know whether or not you had one or not. Nothing was said about it.

The staff was excellent in their help to get my boyfriend, dog, and I safely and quickly checked in before the hurricane Idalia. We evacuated out of Live Oak and booked this room last minute after confirming it was safe to leave and to protect ourselves. Even with this worry on our shoulders, the staff helped us to their best abilities.

Water was left from the previous guest in the ice bucket. The toilet wasn't cleaned thoroughly and had difficulty flushing. The front desk was left unattended multiple times.

Everyone’s customer service was BEYOND exceptional!!! We were greeted when we first got there by Sean and then Deb and Ulicia the next day and they were all VERY friendly and welcoming!!! I have NEVER encountered ANYONE at ANY hotel that I have EVER stayed at that was this awesome!

That it was pet friendly and my daughter and I got bit several times by fleas…and I know that there were fleas bc I caught one on my right ankle and through it out of our door…

Rooms were spacious and clean, so where that bathrooms. Bathroom cleanliness is very important to me. The furnishings were fresh and modern, I liked that. Also easy access to the highway.

Breakfast was pretty good, very basic hotel fare. They did have good coffee which is a must for us. It was ready in the breakfast area at 5am which is a real plus for those who want to get on the road.

I loved the wide and tall open out bathroom door( my husband is height blessed being wide was just an plus) Also loved that the room itself has a door if needed. The set up was like an one bedroom apartment and executed well.

I didn’t like that the ground floor by the elevator smelled like a bathroom though I think there is one close. but it wasn’t an issue.

Sue from housekeeping was very friendly. Our room was exceptionally clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Computers went down during check in. Unable to pre purchase a parking pass the following morning because the computers were down. Our toilet, did not cause an issue but need to let someone know, is loose and wobbly.

My room was very spacious, complete with a separate sitting room. Very clean, comfortable bed, fridge and microwave.

There was a strong smell in the room, like a plug-in freshener or maybe the cleaning products. It was so strong that I was getting a headache. I’m glad that I was on an upper level so that I could open my window to let fresh air in.

Stayed here before so we knew it was clean and safe

We found out the hot tub was removed from the pool, the main reason we booked this hotel again. But I understand. Just wish the pool hours were longer. We went to eat dinner and because of the long wait we did not get to utilize the pool.

The room was very clean and the staff was so pleasant and couestly to us And when we needed something it was done quickly.

There should be a paper tv guide so you can know what's on the TV and we're it located on the tv.
