Very nice hotel in a comfortable location, easily accessible with the car and with some options within a walking distance or by bike (available in the hotel to rent). The room was fully equipped, including a fridge & coffee machine. The hotel provides refillable bottle & a purified water fountain in the hall. Amenities and enough clean towels were provided for our 3 nights stays, if more needed you can ask the reception. However worth noticing they don’t have daily cleaning service, but rely on DIY services providing you with the resources to ensure a clean room & nice stay. It was surprising but we actually appreciated it as a way to reduce waste & understandable with the min staff they have. The Grab & Go breakfast is a nice concept that allowed us to enjoy beautiful sunrises from the room or the beach.

The only BUT was the staff, they were not as welcoming or helpful as most Hawaiians. We asked for recommendation for hikes, place to visit & food trucks… and they were not able to help but gave us the standard coupon magazine of the island. The service with not aloha spirit, in this sense was disappointing

Good location, right on the beach, our room was a decent size, pretty quiet (except for the ocean waves crashing on the beach right outside!), had a fridge and quiet A/C unit plus ceiling fan, a big screen TV, comfy king bed. We didn't use them this trip, but they had free bikes and yoga classes, decent restaurant on site. Grocery store, restaurants, pubs, and other amenities within walking distance. Rented kayaks from Bring Me A Kayak just up the road to paddle the Wailua River and hike to the falls -- great!

No regular room service was available during our stay (staff shortage?), room had a few minor glitches (peeling paint), the take-away breakfast had nothing we would eat (mostly sticky buns and sugary cereal), but we walked to grocery store up the road and bought our own food options.

Ideal location on the beach. Many restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The town of Kapaa offers also many options at a 5 mins drive. Located on the east coast, it’s a very good base to explore the island (north shore is 30 mins drive, the canyon is at an hour drive). The pool and the yoga classes are very nice !

- you need to ask 24h in advance to have your room cleaned. We didn’t have the information during check-in - we would have enjoyed a drink in front of the ocean but you need to dine at the restaurant

This was a great place to stay, perfect location, very clean rooms, right on the ocean listening to the waves all day, beds are incredibly comfortable, breakfast included, yoga in the morning, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, free bike rentals to bike along the ocean on a really nice 6 mile bike path. I drove to the north shore Princeville and Hanalei Bay which many ppl recommended I stay there I am actually happy with where I picked. It was perfect and super close to the airport.

I didn't like that they didn't have a proper shower to take the day I was leaving at 9:45pm. Also, ISO charged me more money for my stay than what was booked and agreed to with Booking.com like $50 more which annoyed me.

The location of the property was stellar, situated in a good location to access the north and south of the island, about 15 minutes from the airport. Our room was the room from the photo (125) and was as pictured. Steps from the water, and just to the south is an area to access the beach, although when the tide comes in, it’s virtually impossible to walk on. Lots of restaurants to choose from nearby and overall a great value hotel with stunning views of the ocean and catching the sunrise in the morning.

People who vacation come with the intention of spending money. Although the grab and go breakfast is better than nothing, the hotel is missing out on offering a hot breakfast for guests. Even for a fee, guests will pay for hot breakfast at the hotel they’re staying at, and hot coffee in the breakfast room. Also, being able to purchase a cocktail at the restaurant to enjoy the view should be offered, instead of going to the property next door.

Everything! Location just beautiful on the shore with sound of crashing waves! Huge room & large sliding balcony door /big balcony & large pool. Continental breakfast was v good & free bike rental as I cycled all along the coast to a swimmable life-guarded beach. Loved the resident cockerels & chickens & the great Mt & palm tree views at the back plus near Safeway/McDonald’s other restaurants & 15 min walk to Coconut Grove marketplace & local buses stop close by to go to next community for shopping (Princeville shops & scenery 40 mins away also a bonus). Chocolate farm stop on route near Princeville too. Very comfortable, airy with ceiling fan ( no AC needed) & helpful staff made my stay perfect! Restaurant/bar on site plus fire grill & free daily yoga on the grass at 7am!

Room was clean and recently renovated, location was great - awesome property right on the ocean. Walkable to restaurants and grocery stores. Staff were friendly and attentive. Value for money was quite good in my opinion.

Even amongst the same room type, the quality of your ocean view will be luck of the draw depending on the exact unit you end up in (some have unobstructed views, some are blocked by trees or partially by other buildings). Included breakfast is super bare bones (some muffins and yogurt), though there’s a Starbucks and McDonalds only a three minute walk away if you want something fast but more substantial.

The location was great! The room was great! The price was great (for Kauai). Really recommend it, especially for people that will be out and about during the days (it’s not a resort hotel so whilst the facilities are very good there are no bars, activities (other than morning yoga) on-site. But the room was large, had a balcony with great views, a coffee maker and a small fridge!

Only small, inconsequential things. The remote on the television didn’t work well which was frustrating and I didn’t like the tap on the sink! (I mean if I have to complain there you go!! :))

We loved the ISO! While it's not much to look at from the parking lot, don't let the unassuming exterior deceive you! The rooms are very comfortable - we stayed in the 1bedroom suite which was SPACIOUS! With a lanai and an ocean view to enjoy breakfast, it was wonderful. The best part though? YOGA. The morning yoga classes were awesome and we liked the teacher so much we hired her for an in-room massage.. HEAVEN. Definitely will be back!

The only real drawback is that they run out of beach towels if you don't grab them early in the morning (or the night before). Once we figured that out it was great. Also, if you are looking to check-in early the rooms are often not ready, and they won't hold luggage. FYI.
