the deck, the large rooms, nice bath area, main bedroom mattress, plenty of lawn chairs available in the big area by the beach. Closeness to walk to get coffee, food, walk the beach walkway

the couch bed was atrocious to say the least, big bad bar in it. We had to put the mattress on the floor to be able to sleep. The bathroom has no 'privacy ' door

Great location, beautiful beach just couple of hundreds metres away, great for surfing lessons, spacious apartment in a hawaiian style, a small air conditioner in bedroom-good enough but noisy, there is also a fan in the living room, superb balcony, equipped kitchenette, good communication with the staff. There are swimming boards, beach chairs and umbrellas in the apartment, we had a really great stay 😀 oh and you have a parking space nearby. Three is a food court with restaurants and a market just across the street but doublecostly than in town. Wifi is ok.

No towels replacement, no toilet paper replacement, no cleaning of the apartment during your stay , the reception is far away.

First floor patio opened to grass covered open-space which was a short walk to the gorgeous beach. Well-appointed condo was updated and clean with everything you needed to start your stay off right. Parking was easy and convenient. love staying here!

The first unit we were to have upon checking in was having the exterior painted in which the painter might need to enter your unit over the course of the painting to access different spaces (lanai, shutters, etc). We opted to upgrade to a different unit as this did not appeal to us, but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time prior to check-in.

It has a good location with walking distance to the beach. We did use the pool and the workout equipment across the street and both were crowded. There is a small shopping area across the street as well with a few shops and a little general store. The condition of our rental was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The fan in the bedroom did't work. The grounds are beautifully kept and we enjoyed walking through the orchid garden on the way to the beach. The exterior of our building was freshly painted and everything there seemed to be well kept. The lanai (porch) was lovely to sit on rain or shine. We could see the ocean and it was lovely.

It would have been nice to have daily maid service and/or laundry facilities in the room. The neighbors were a little loud but the walls kept most of the noise out. The fan in the bedroom didn't work and some nights were hot without AC.

The setting and grounds of Kiahuna Plantation were great! The beach was perfect for sunbathing, playing in the waves, swimming and learning the surf. The sunsets were gorgeous. Our apartment was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The apartment had a lot of extra things that made our stay better e.g body boards, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, cold bag. The Poipu Beach Club was a great additional benefit, with a lovely pool, gym, tennis courts and games.

The staff at Kiahuna Plantations were not very helpful and their attitude was not very customer service oriented. We had asked for an additional roll out bed when we booked but on arrival were given a trifold mattress that we were then told we had to pay $85 for so our son spent the week on a thin mattress on the floor. The sofa bed in the apartment needs upgrading. It was just about suitable for our 11 year old but it would not have been suitable for an adult to sleep on - mattress too thin.

great location, great staff, I was thrilled that our family had 3 different units to fit our needs, we used the grills with great success, the beach amenities were great. all around a great property with very friendly staff.

there was a lot of maintenance noise starting fairly early and happening all the days we were there. any chance it could change to electric leaf blowers? my stay from Booking.com was expensive, but then $900 in fees were added on - that was waaaaay too much.

I hope this review supersedes the last one I wrote which was for a different place. This hotel is great. Like most, it is really a owner-owned series of condos that the hotel manages. It is a short walk to the nice beach, through a neighboring hotel area. The excellent but crowded Poipu beach is a short drive or a long walk away. Full kitchen facilities are perfect for making breakfast, esp because the breakfast place across the street is always crowded. Also across the street is an included mini-resort with a nice pool. Our room had a nice outdoor seating area. One minor negative is street noise. And, of course, the ever-present chickens at 4 AM - everywhere in Kauai. Price was right, staff great - waited up for our late arrival. Highly recommended.

Really nothing at all.

Conveniently located shuttle bus stop at its west entrance and we could reach the resort by public transportation comfortably. The beach was a few minutes walking distance and was spectacular. The resort has a very well kept garden and nearby shopping village also offered convenient access to all we needed.

There are 2 check-in receptions and we were asked to go tho the second guest registration office which was on the other end of the resort. Then we had to walk all the way back because our room was actually closer to the first registration office.

The location was great - very convenient for us. The resort grounds were lovely - we really enjoyed looking at all the flowers. The beach was great although we didn't have time to swim here. We like having access to the Poipu Athletic Club across the street. We liked having access to a BBQ.

The kitchen had no spices other than salt and pepper and was missing some things like a collander. Just the bare basics in the kitchen. The foldout couch was not great as the feet were 6 inches higher than the head of the bed. The person in our party sleeping on the couch did not bother to open it up as it was more comfortable sleeping on it still folded up. We would have like to have been closer to the two other groups in our party but that was not a big issue given we were out and about with scheduled activities for many of the days we were there.

Easy access to great beaches. Across the street was the pool and restaurant.

You had to cross the street to get to the pool, which was a little small. Individually owned condo units, so they are similar, but not exactly the same. For instance, not all units have AC. Of the 3 units we booked, only one had an AC unit in the living room and ours was the only one with a floor fan. In hot weather, this could make the bedroom very warm.
