Hyatt Place Boise/Downtown

Hyatt Place Boise was a great place to stay. Having the 2 Queen beds and a pull out couch worked great for my family. Room was clean and comfortable. Location in downtown Boise was surprisingly nice. Very impressed

The only thing we didn't like was the eggs at breakfast had cheese in them. This is a nit-picky item but since the eggs container was full I'd say others had a similar opinion...especially when shredded cheese was available to add separate if you wanted it. So they should just get plain scrambled eggs.

Nice facilities, clean pool and common areas, friendly staff.

We were there during Covid, so they did not clean the rooms while we were there as a safety precaution. But we were given blankets and towels as needed.

Location was excellent, walking distance to tons of restaurants and entertainment opportunities. Staff was extremely welcoming.

Large groups of athletic teams during our stay made it difficult to use the amenities. Accessing breakfast and the pool was often difficult. Common areas were extremely crowded.

Facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Location was great, and within walking distance to dining and entertainment. Overall, the experience was positive.

After I left the hotel and arrived at the airport, I realized I left a pair of RayBan prescription sunglasses in the room I stayed in. I immediately called the front desk and spoke to a Brendan, and told him that I would pay for the sunglasses to be shipped to me. He asked for my number and told me the housekeeping manager. I never received a call? I went to Lens Crafters to order a new pair of glasses.

Location, service and huge rooms. Comfortable beds, and walking distance to all the best things in downtown Boise. This has been my go to location for stays in boise for 5 years. I have stayed here for work and with family. I have never been disappointed in my stay, and will probably continue staying here every time I come to visit boise.

This has nothing to do with the actual property itself. This is more of an observation. The price each year seems to keep going up and they do charge for parking. I can see if you are more price conscious, there may be other affordable options. All I would say, is you do get your money’s worth, if you do decide to stay here.

Everything about the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. We had to wait for our room to be done for about 20 minutes before checking in but they were very good about checking on it and letting us know where we were at. Being short staffed is rough! Be Kind. We loved the pool and breakfast!

The only negative I have to say is about parking. The hotel is in a very busy area and although the parking lot says hotel guests only we found our selves parking across the street a couple times to walk to the hotel because the lot isn’t private. No big deal though!

The location was perfect. Great walking distance to downtown restaurants and entertainment. There’s really no such thing as a bad location in Boise, but this was a great downtown spot. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The staff always greeted me coming in and out. The pool was a nice after a long day.

Granted- I know supply chains are having difficulty because of COVID, but the food selection at the bar and for breakfast was pretty lackluster. I didn’t mind since I ate most of my meals out, but it would have been nice to have a heads up upon booking that the bar menu was cut short and the free breakfast wouldn’t be as pictured. It wasn’t so much the fact that it was different but that I wasn’t informed of the changes.

The Staff was fantastic. Hotel and facilities were clean organized and neat. Only two things kept this stay from getting a perfect review.

Two things that kept this hotel stay from getting a perfect review is having a dirty coffee maker in our room and the included buffet breakfast was seriously lacking in quality. The pancakes tasted frozen and warmed up. Eggs tasted like reconstituted powder eggs. And orange juice was empty and not refilled.

The location is fantastic, as soon as you leave the hotel, there's restaurants and the heart of Boise just a couple of steps away. The room was great, was clean, large enough for two people and a big 'ol TV.

The lack of a microwave in the room. I have no idea why it isn't a standard at this hotel, as all of the other ones I have stayed at, had a microwave in the room. The hotel WiFi was rough to connect into, but after a bit, I could connect into it.

The room was great! The people were super kind. The manager or service representative, (blonde female) was absolutely great! Great personality and even better service. She deserves a raise !!

The time the hot tub and pool open. The fact that there was limited parking, we didn’t park on the lot 2/4 days we were there. Maybe if this information was provided before hand it, we could prepare a little better.
