Motel 6 Boise - Airport

They were very accommodating for me and my sweet cat Mia. I had already booked at super 8 across the way from another sight I use. but they refused me when I had told them I had a cat. The young man was horrible, thankfully they’re franchised. I left a review as well for that place. Because the other two I stayed at before I got to that one was very accommodating to us. was praying that this place wouldn’t do the same to us after driving 14hrs to get to my Daddy in the hospital. My experience from here on out and this is IF I have to do this all again, travel across country in a timely manner. call first before booking anything. I was screwed out of $500.00 from this booking.com for my rental that I had booked through them because of the airport rental car place saying they wouldn’t take my debit card. showed them the rules that were stipulated in my booking for the place that it clearly said it took debit and credit cards. wooo weee another night getting in at 1am so I could go attend my Momma’s funneral just last September of 2022. again had to go to another rental car place and spend another $1200.00. so again I would do a little more than just book and go with booking.com. never ever got my money back have proof of all the emails that I had sent too. the only way you can correspond with them. so I will never book a vehicle with them again. hoping this helps out others. they never let me do a review until this one so I figured I get it all out on this one. take the good with the bad is a very good saying for this sight on booking things.

Simplicity - Clean room - Price - Availability on a busy summer weekend

TV did not have the Golf Channel - Shower head was way too low - A/C was set way too low when I arrived - Check-in time was later than I anticipated, and I had to return late - Didn't know that internet was available, and I probably would have used it. - Room was not made up for 2nd night, but I hadn't made a mess, so I had no problem with finding the room the way that I'd left it, and the room temperature exceeded 60 degrees.

Everyone was nice and helpful.

No extra pillows, my husband had a broken foot and ankle and needed to elevate his foot. Also the people above us had dogs that ran all night long. I think the people above us worked nights as they were long term occupants. As soon as they left the dogs would run and jump from beds. We know it was the dogs as we went up to ask them to stop. No one answered the door but dogs barked at us.

I arrived late to the hotel for check-in and Eric greeted me by first name (showing he took the time to review the reservations) and ensured my traveling went safe and well due to the arrival time.

It was different not seeing a mini fridge or a microwave in the room - especially staying for a few nights and having to last-minute order out. Having a young child that drinks milk - that was pretty difficult.

From the minute we arrived the staff here went out of their way to be kind and thoughtful to us above and beyond their duty . We are 3 old ( and disabled, one in a wheelchair ) ladies from California stuck in Boise while buying an RV waiting for medical results from a mishap that might require surgery. My ancient dog, who has trouble walking, was saved by the out of the box thinking of Bryson, who not only brought us mats to cover the slick linoleum floor my dog couldn’t walk on, checked on our needs every day, helped with laundry, and continually showed his care and concern for all our needs. He actually came to the motel on his day off to try and help us with a mechanical problem in my new RV!! Thank you all for wearing masks to help protect us! Our housekeeper caitlyn made sure we had fresh towels all the time. Managers lee and charley checked on us and helped us stay day after day as we struggled for medical results and with fear and pain😒. They all showed exceptional care and attention, making us feel like guests in their home, not dazed stranded strangers in a cheap motel. Best motel 6 I ever stayed at! So sorry if I forgot anyone’s name or acknowledgment! You guys are awesome!👏🏼👏🏼 ps: no surgery!

Only sour note was night shift desk clerk Kylie, who was vanished from the front desk when we went seeking change for laundry, no note ( be right back…?) or pager number; while we were waiting, another client, there also waiting wanting to check in, left in disgust going elsewhere to stay…. And then when we called the desk 15 minutes later to see if someone was now there so we could get change, we got a very snotty attitude from Kylie and then she actually called us back 5 minutes later to hurry cause she couldn’t wait there for us to come get change!! Then we saw her far from the desk ( and her duties) playing with a dog….

I liked how clean and safe I felt walking around the facility the staff were friendly and helpful I'd definitely consider staying here again

It would have been nice if they had a mini fridge in the room and the pool would have been opened if not for those to minor things the stay would have been exceptional.

Housekeeping staff was tremendous! The first one made sure everything was satisfactory and went herself to get new room keys, second one was very friendly, third one very friendly and humorous, let me know there were other vending machines closer to my room, even other guests were friendly and respectful.

The mattress slid on the platform, no bathroom amenities, had to use vending machine that did not drop item until the third charge to my card. First room, door stuck; second room, tv remote needed reprogramming; third room had the slippery mattress. Don't remember Motel 6 being so bare-boned.

Friendly staff, pet friendly, comfortable rooms, used Food Jet for meal, quiet and comfortable. Easy to find and see from the freeway, excellent air-conditioning in room and big bathroom with plenty of in room amenities like microwave and fridge.

Extremely difficult exit from the freeway, glad I was finding in during the day as it was very confusing at the intersection to get the frontage road. Poor parking, very tight spots and the day after we left was going to be worse as they were paving the lot. No elevator for elderly or handicapped to use. No close restaurants unless you wanted to walk the busy street to Denny's.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location for getting to the airport.

Every area outside of the room was pretty grungy. The parking lot smelled in the heat from multitude of unidentifiable liquids that had been spilled and never washed away. There was ALWAYS someone smoking by the doors and in the parking lot. There was a sign at the front door stating "Smoking in designated areas only", but apparently all areas were "designated". There were dog droppings all over the grass by the parking lot - another fun smell in the 100 degree weather. The tv reception was not good. Coffee in the lobby was "unavailable" and the pool was closed.

The entire stay was a great value, the.room was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The only drawback worth mentioning was the lack of lower from the air conditioning unit. It's February in Boise, Idaho and the unit barely kept the room comfortable. A summertime stay would not be comfortable at all.
