The hotel was nice and clean, good breakfast, quiet, friendly desk.

The bed was too firm and blankets were tucked too far down that I had to sleep in a hoody because I couldn't get them pulled up around my shoulders. We requested a ride back to our hotel via shuttle as we had been waiting 2 hours after a concert and Uber was unavailable. The gentleman said he would check and call me back. We did see the shuttle pick some people up but it wasn't us and I never got a return call. We were stranded until 1:30 am. I would have appreciated that call back and we would have gladly paid the shuttle driver.

We liked being able to pop right outside and go to Applebees. Whenever we stay at the hotels near the airport it's always a bit of a challenge finding something close by to eat. This location was quiet, easy to get to, and had the convenience of a resteraunt we liked right nearby. The bed was comfortable, liked the big bathroom counter and double shower options. We LOVED the lighting, especially the bedside reading lamps and usb ports.

The pillows were quite bad and uncomfortable. We've stayed at much lower budget hotels/motels that had much more comfortable pillows. The hotel advertises firm and soft pillow choices, but we couldn't discern any real difference between all the pillows on our King bed.. We found all of the pillows to be extremely flimsey and lacked any support, even piled up together. This made for not a great sleep. The lights all went off on me during my shower. They must have been on a timer, and the light switch is not clear about the settings to know this up front.

Elevator too hot, understand it was cold two days prior but elevator was not adjusted properly.. Garbage outside where benches are, was flowing over and not even a second trash can was provided. I understand probably a maintenance person's duty, not the people at front desk. However they should be advised of a second, garbage can that they can place outside, so.garbage isn't blowing around. U don't want Boise to turn into a city where u see garbage on the side of every highway.. .....

The room was fine except for what is noted below. The room was spacious and the breakfast was very good.

Just one thing - the window shades. There was a three piece shade over the one window. The two outer pieces were dark and the middle section, over most of the window was white. Unfortunately at night, all the street lights and other lights came right through that middle section and didn't allow total darkness on the room. It's an easy fix - just put a dark piece of cloth in the middle to replace the white cover and there's no problem. You can still open the shade but also darken the room at night.

Close to freeway for getting around easily to most of our planned vacation stops. Was also relatively close to some downtown venues as well. The fact it was just across the freeway from a large airport went completely unnoticed, we didn’t hear a single plane while inside the hotel. Everything was clean and stocked for our needs, didn’t have to pester the front desk or housekeeping at all.

Breakfast could use some more variety between days. I get this is a budget hotel and the fact we even get breakfast is a plus, but maybe alternate the hot dish choices every other day or so. That is a stretch for finding something we didn’t like, it was overall a great stay. Only other quasi gripe would be the pool, it has a very heavy concentration of chlorine (kids have germs, mine included, I get it), but just turning on the jets of the hot tub for about 5 mins made my eyes burn as there isn’t any ventilation out the pool area, just a swamp cooler in.

We were disappointed in the front desk staff. Our stays in the past have had friendly welcoming people - Boise people have always been special to guests. I can only believe that there is a lot of staff turnover…. and training is minimal. Front desk people should always acknowledge guests …. this did not happen this visit. I stood at the desk several times before someone looked up and finally said, “Hi.”. How about “Good Morning… May I help you?” There are a number of new hotels in the area now, and we will be checking out their amenities too…. Your management needs to realize the importance of customer service…. You are in the hospitality business!

The Hotel itself. The Maids, the Breakfast Staff are very nice. Even though some didn't understand English but did their best to communicate. The Older Lady, Couple of Male Staff at the Front desk were very welcoming, personable.

Most of the Front Desk Staffs were stuck on the computers when not attending to guests. They don't even look up or acknowledge people as they come through the front doors or walking through. Not like before. This is my 4th or 5th time staying here. First time I brought my pets. I asked for a Suite and was told you were booked. Later I was told by one of your own staff members, Pets are only allowed on the first floor. I've been lied to.

Liked that all facilities were open and breakfast buffet was good pool was clean. Rooms were clean beds were comfortable. Lady at checkout was very friendly.

Check in staff were not very friendly and seemed preoccupied although there was no-one else in lobby. Maid was very unhelpful when they saw our keycard was not opening the back door they would not open even though they just watched us taking some of our luggage to our vehicle. She watched me at the door and when I asked her to open it please she just turned her back acting as if I wasn't even there. Very rude. Usually we leave a tip for the maids, this time we did not because of this.

The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. I made a mistake, and had booked for the wrong night. They accommodated me with a room for the night at no extra charge. Booking.com helped correct the mistake.

The installation of the shower doors was backward. The shower door opened at the bathroom door, which made it difficult to get into the shower. The shower door was crooked, and leaked water out of the shower area.

Was close to Boise downtown. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice as well. Playground across the street for kids.

Our room was next to the stairs and exit. So lots of traffic slamming doors all through the evening and night. We traveled with a baby, so we woke up tons because of that. Also, the pool was not heated, and the hot tub was cold.
