Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Boise West, ID

Very clean facility. Every area was well maintained. Beds were comfortable. The night staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The morning staff was less than helpful. We smelled smoke in our room (3rd floor). Reported it to the front desk. We waited a long while for them to come up. They never did. We searched for the source and discovered it was coming from the neighboring room. (I’m guessing it was cigarettes at this point and not something more dangerous but they didn’t know that). When we went down for breakfast it was already locked up at 8 AM. We asked the front desk about the smoke and why no one came. They told us not to worry. “If it had been a real fire the smoke alarms would go off”. They weren’t concerned at all and never followed up. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to wait around to find out the room next to me is on fire.

I was pretty surprise when I arrived at 1am, lobby smelled amazing elevator smelled of bleach. The reviews on here almost scared me off. I typically stay at Hilton properties, however for some reason the price and point gouge was ridiculous. So I opted for here, and when I tell you I was not disappointed. This will be my go to spot when I’m in town from now on. Thank you Brenda for such an amazing stay, I’m truly grateful! Room was sparkling clean, I didn’t get to put in request for top floor but I will next time.

My only complaint the heavy foot above me stomped throughout they room from 4am till noon.

The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly checking in, and the breakfast was very nice with lots of choices, such as waffles, breads, bagles, muffins, fruit cups, fresh fruit, hot scrambled eggs, cubed potatoes with either bacon or sausage, cold cereal, packets of instant oatmeal, 2 different kinds of coffee, and juices along with hot water and tea bags provided outside the dining area in the lobby. The man who took care of replenishing food and greeting guests was very nice (unfortunately, I did not get his name).

Nothing to complain about

Room darkening drapes were better than. 5-star hotels. Reeeeally appreciated that, since we stayed for a week. Staff was superior!!! Very accommodating. Will stay again in a couple of months. Beds were comfortable. Nice full-length mirror. Great, large mirror and counter in bathroom .

Carpets could use cleaning.. mat outside front door looked soiled and shabby. Very dusty microwave cubby. Wood furniture could use some furniture pencil to make them more attractive. Elevator could use some TLC.

great breakfast as was the staff. The front desk was friendly. Room was spacious, clean and bright lights was awesome. Having s microwave, refrigerator was also a plus. The bed was very comfortable

There were not enough towel racks for two people. Framed pictures in a bathroom to us very unnecessary. sink was missing drain plug. Exhaust fan did not work. A/C did not keep consistent we set at 67 woke up at 2 a.m.; it reset to 70! too hot for down quilts.

Easy check-in process. Breakfast options were pretty good, well stocked and the room was clean. Staff present in breakfast room keeping it clean. Had coffee available in the lobby at all times. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. Location is great. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near by and easy access in and out of parking area.

Bathroom had broken floor tile. Also, quality of the soap provided could be better. Neither of these would deter us from staying here again.

The Location was excellent , safe for traveling alone, wonderful shopping and dining within walking distance, lots of nice green spaces and parks nearby.

The breakfast was the only thing not quite up to par especially when taking in all the other ratings I gave were excellent - there was a notice they were updated the premises so maybe that was just not done yet.

The location is close to highways but not on the main highway so the rooms are relatively quiet. The facilities are great & we truly enjoyed the breakfast choices. Also breakfast was offered early - from 6am or 6:30am not sure which allowed us to check out early & drive to our next destination.

The hotel sign was not lit when we arrived in the dark at about 6pm which made the hotel entrance really hard to find.

It is very conveniently located to many restaurants and the activities we wanted. The bed was very comfortable, which is something that I often struggle to find or experience. The breakfast each morning had plenty of variety and was very good. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The only thing I had much of an issue with was the lack of outlets or USB ports for electronics & electrical devices. I know this is an older hotel and people weren’t previously as electronically dependent, but even just a simple upgrade to lamps or a wall socket or two with additional outlets or USB ports would be a great improvement!

Pool was great and the staff are excellent.

Breakfast was good on the weekend but lacking during the week.
