Oxford Suites Boise

Location was very convenient, we ended up being 20 minutes or less from every place we wanted to visit in town with close freeway access. Complimentary breakfast was very good, the fresh prepared omelettes with ingredient choice was above expectation. There was also complimentary evening cocktails, we didn’t take advantage of those but it was also a nice above expectation touch.

There’s nothing for me to nitpick here, I didn’t use any of the extra facilities like gym or pool, though they seemed fine and and clean. It’s close to the freeway and the surroundings are mostly parking lot, but I never noticed any freeway noise and we were in the freeway side of the building. Admittedly, our stay was about exploring the town and not focused on hotel amenities.

Morning staff was friendly and upbeat. Bed and bedding were comfy. Room was clean and well-appointed and had plenty of space. Heating was consistent. Breakfast was great. Breakfast staff was efficient and pleasant. Having a decent breakfast made the room price a better value. Location is handy to my favorite restaurants and to shopping.

I arrived at 11:30pm. There was no parking left except in a distant area on the back side of the building. Because all the doors lock to key entry at 11pm, I had to walk around the building through some poorly-lit areas dragging my bag and belongings. I am an older female and I did not feel safe. I do not recommend this hotel for late night arrival.

The breakfast cook was doing a stellar, quick job making eggs, but the line was pretty long at times. It wasn't too bad if you were actually wanted eggs, but for those who just wanted pancakes and/or potatoes, it felt very odd breaking in line just to get those items. I also saw a guy apologizing for "cutting" in the egg line just to get a cup of coffee. Maybe a sign or something encouraging those people to do that?, or perhaps the line could be somehow formed away from those items? Also, the bathroom needs a towel bar for wet bath towels.

The hotel is a beautiful. The room is very relaxing n spacious. The deep soaking tub is wonderful. I need one at home now. Breakfast is very good. Staff is very friendly and professional . Pet Friendly also.

Main road behind us but you really couldn't hear it to much so not a huge problem. Also, need separate light for toilet room n main bathroom n light under cabinet in kitchen area.

I love everything about this place. The people the staff the food the rooms the tubs it’s just always been a nice day. I know there are other hotels in Boise that are probably a little fancier whatever but I don’t think you can get better than oxford suites. It’s not far from the airport it’s not far from downtown I just like it. I stayed at it the year before last 2020 and fortunately it was during Covid and it was a little less expensive and there were more options this time we’re going to stay again in November and I could only get a king suite because that’s that’s it I don’t have to sleep on the couch or ask him for a bed because my son is coming on a plane for the first time in his life!

Everything is great about this place. I specifically love their tubs and showers.

The staff I worked with at check in was amazing. She was kind and talked with as she checked me. She was kind and nice to talk to. Also, the cook for the breakfast on Tuesday morning was excellent!! She was kind, friendly, and very prompt. I was impressed how she asked me three times if there was something she could get for me. That is excellent customer service. I know there were other people in the eating area, but I felt like I was the only one there because of the personal attention. My stay will not be my stay at Oxford will not be my last. Excellent work by staff!!

Check in process was a bit slow but it certainly did not take away from the great experience. The breakfast was great! Great choices and quality! Room was clean. The bed was comfortable. They have a little market with great choices including alcohol if you want that! They are pet friendly which I didn’t know but this wasn’t a trip that I was bringing my pets anyway. One of the reasons I picked this property was the oversized tubs in the rooms! I believe that is a great amenity to have! I would stay here again for sure!

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Their check in process could be a little faster but that would not keep me from coming back.

Breakfast- great choice if one is gluten free because of eggs and made to order omelette. Separated tub and shower. Toilet separated. Fixed issue with tv right away. Can do early check in. Walking distance to Walmart and restaurants.

If there wasn’t a problem with the tv in the first place. Breakfast lasted until 10 am. Plastic cups for the bathroom because those glass ones are heavy. Another towel rack in the bathroom so other people can hang their towel up.

The Oxford Suites Boise was a fantastic hotel to stay at. It was very clean, smelled great, and was in a nice safe area! The staff was also friendly and helpful with dinner recommendations (Goodwood BBQ was delicious!). Our room was large with a couch, desk, coffee table, and little nook with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave. The bathroom was very spacious and my kiddo loved the big tub. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We also loved the hot breakfast in the morning with made to order eggs, variety of breads and pastries, lots of fruit, oatmeal, juices, teas, and coffee. Was a great way to start our day before getting back on the road for a long drive. On top of everything else, we were traveling with our two dogs (we notified the hotel prior to our arrival) and they were welcomed and even given new collapsible bowls, a few treats, and waste bags. I was so pleasantly surprised that our pet friendly rooms were so clean and smelled great. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!!

Everything was great!

The room was very clean and nice. We will definitely stay there again. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The chefs in the kitchen making breakfast were very personable. The breakfast was very good. My husband enjoyed his favorite eggs-- "over easy."

The advertisement says complementary drinks. Actually, that is only until a certain time. That needs to be corrected.
