Loved the variety of the breakfast

Toilet did not flush on the first day. Looked like previous guests had tried to fix it by bending the handle and had stripped the securing nut of the handle. I reported the faulty toilet to front desk and he had the toilet repaired. The toilet would flush 80% of the time, occasionally tangling up the chain causing the water to continually run.....The two matching bed lamps had different light bulbs, one LED and one dim yellow. As a person who worked in the maintenance department of a manufacturing plant for over 40 years, I seen a few repairs that were just ' band-aided.

The staff was super friendly. Pool was open 24/7 so it was nice to swim or soak in the hot tub after getting back late. Rooms were very clean.

The bed was too hard and it made my body ache. I was mostly disappointed in the breakfast buffet I paid for. I thought the buffet was a spread of a variety of proteins, fruits, pancakes, waffles, etc. It was very minimal. I'm diabetic and there was nothing I could eat that was made available. There was no protein available to grab. Instead, I had to order my protein and wait.

We were there for 3 nights 4 days. We are totally aware of the Covid situation and the precautions that Hilton are taking. It was somewhat inconvenient to have to ask for towels, coffee and amenities. We were able to schedule a housekeeping day that was done very well and efficient. Bathroom fan was somewhat loud as was the room air. One light burnt out in the bathroom and sink was cracked. Felt we paid high room rates as returning customer and for a room that needed a bit of maintenance. We love the area and have recommended Hilton Garden Inn at the Spectrum several times over the years. Also the fact that breakfast was not included contributed to feeling maybe room rates were too high. We most likely will continue to stay at this Hilton property.

Very nice, clean, beautiful place! It was also a very comfortable & quiet stay. I’ve been to other “high end” hotels & I honestly didn’t feel comfortable even walking to my car alone. Your facility is very well lit & made me feel safe. This is quite important for me, since I often travel alone.

There was no hot water for my shower on the first morning we were there but I understand that it was throughout the entire hotel and they had it fixed by the end of the day. I understand that it was NOT any fault of the hotel. Something unexpected.

The room was extremely clean and well stocked.

Kuerig coffee machine seemed to be plugged. Every cup of coffee we tried to make was loaded with grounds.

Customer service was amazing. The breakfast is outstanding as well. The rooms were nice.

The beds are very hard. The pillows are too soft. I like soft pillows but they melted to nothing, even the harder ones were soft. The toilet was so close to the tub I almost couldn't reach it. The website wasn't updated with the fact that the pool was under construction. I specified pool. I could go across the parking lot to the sister hotel but I didn't prepare for a long walk.

1) Carpet was dirty. 2) Tub stained. It’s an older property and it shows. 3) Pillows suck. 4) No USB ports in the room for charging electronics.

The front desk woman, Kris was very helpful and accommodating.

Nothing specific about the property. My issue was with reservations and the pushy woman trying to sell me resort stays when I needed to speak directly with the hotel.

Clean, quiet room. Comfortable bed, good pillows. Everything fine.

Only 1 front desk person to check in a line of 4 folks. Main problem was that her mask was below her nose. Please don't make me have to ask someone to put mask on over nose. She said it made her feel claustrophobic., but she did it. Lastly, an extra $17 was put on cc for "incidentals." And this was not defined. This made me have to make a trip to the desk for checkout to make sure this was taken off the bill. The staff seemed perplexed on why this charge had been added. Without this odd charge, I could have avoided a 2nd front desk encounter, which, in, Covid times, is important.

Great location with plenty of restaurant choices nearby. The hotel's breakfast was offered by its on-site restaurant - it was excellent! The beds were very comfortable and the room was really clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
