Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago Midway Airport

Suzette was very nice gave us her best in hospitality just great service andthe manager was very great best fairfield inn i stayed at this year.

needed to wash and the dryers didnt work and had only one washerand dryer inconvient for a nine day trip. breakfast could have had scrambled eggs and turkey sausages and the house keeping had to be ask on request i just don't get it more money for hotels but less service in this room cleaning area.we use the hotel every day toilet paper towels sheets needs to be changes out at least every other day beds need to be made up floor vaccumed come on housekeeping step up your game i paid for this service i am on vacay.

This place is very close to the airport, like 10 minutes or less with the shuttle. The room was as expected for the flag, not great, but not terrible. Beside the surrounding area the hotel felt safe and they have a good restaurant at a walking distance - inside the same plaza.

I cannot say I didn't like anything in particular. I guess the surrounding area is a minus, but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Not a place for a vacation, but it works well if you have to catch an early flight and don't want to risk getting stuck in traffic.

There was a variety of foods to choose from which was very good. The location was very convenient to my destination which was a plus.

The only issue I had about this hotel was the parking. There was several parking spaces, however not enough to accommodate the hotel guest. I had to park in the hotel parking lot across the street at times and pray that it would still be there in the morning.

The room was very clean, cool, and fresh smelling. I booked this room the day of due to my A/C unit breaking down on a very hot and humid day. We were very rushed and uncomfortable after a very restless night of 100+ degree weather. We arrived after 4pm and were very happy to find our room clean, cool, with crisp cool sheets. Best stay ever!

The location was fine. We needed to be close to Midway Airport and we were. I had asked for a handicap accessible room. We did not have a handicap accessible. However the clerk at the desk did an outstanding job of helping me secure a wheelchair for my husband.

I had asked for a handicap accessible room. Apparently that did not get communicated and so we were not in the handicap accessible room with a handicap accessible shower or room for wheelchair.

I don't think you should have to pay for parking .. That really does not make sense since you are visiting from out of town who would not get a Rental car .. So to pay 20.00 a day is crazy to me the only draw back and I have stayed there at least 7 times

Your staff was wonderful. I especially was to compliment Tracy. She was at the front desk when checked out at 2:30am. She helped us get the shuttle but before we boarded the shuttle She made us fresh coffee and toasted us a bagel. Tracy exemplifies the work ethic so many businesses are missing these days. Treat her well because people like her are hard to find. We look forward to staying with you again

I want to commend Vanessa & her team! Sorry to say I became disgruntled because Vanessa could not find my confirmation I had thru Booking.com. Vanessa's response to my growing yet growling unhappy state was swift & compassionate. She told me " I'm going to walk away"! The few minutes she spent with another customer allowed me time to calm down. She returned and solved the issue. Booking.com entered my first & last name in the wrong order. So Booking.com needs to make sure the names are entered correctly to avoid this type of booking issue.

Not enough Housekeeping staff. Low on washcloths. However the hotel was fully booked.

Service from the staff was TOP NOTCH, very professional, staff is AWESOME, from the front desk, complementary breakfast, housekeeping, etc. I will continue to return to the Fairfield. It's like home away from home and staff is like family. Thank you so very much.

It's not a dislike but can you put ice cream and maybe some TV dinners or other food items that you can put in the microwave please.

Great location, great customer service, breakfast was good. Provided my husband and I with a 1pm checkout after we arrived after midnight.

Needs renovation, carpet worn/stained. Elevators were old. Again, renovation is desperately needed
