Great location, surrounded by parks. Very safe, clean and great vibes from the staff

No mini fridge in the room. Not the end of the world, but it’s nice to have a a few cold drinks on hand when staying for a few days

Hotel has a very cool vibe with the library theming. Staff was great and parking was readily available while we were there (first week of July) on the street by the hotel. The park right across from the hotel was convenient for traveling with a dog.

The surrounding area is not great. Driving to the hotel from the interstate or traveling from the hotel to other parts of the city requires passing through some rough parts of town. It wasn't a huge problem but definitely something to be aware of.

Staff was phenomenal! Checking in Malachi was a warm and welcoming face after a busy day of activity. The afternoon crew were extremely helpful as I experienced an unfortunate vehicle vandalism during my stay. They helped contact university police and allowed me to store my luggage until I was able to have the car towed.

Secured parking would be a nice addition to the hotel. Free street parking unfortunately comes with a greater than average risk. Also, rooms are somewhat pricey for there to be so few amenities.

It felt very modern and was a great place to come back to after a long day. Everyone was so friendly, and it made me feel safe in a city that made me feel very anxious.

The staff was very nice, but when checking in, they should mention you need to use your room key to operate the elevator; we we were very confused for a long time. Also, the shower was very slow at draining which made it awkward for multiple people showering.

The location is perfect for what we needed it for. The staff is awesome and friendly to deal with. The building is fairly new, surrounded by the University of Chicago with beautiful buildings. You also had easy access to downtown.

Early in the morning, you can hear when other units use their water or toilet.

I liked the coziness of the property. The rooms are very clean and updated to give a very modern feel. The staff was also very helpful and timely when it came to any needs or requirements during the stay.

im a stickler so i wouldnt say that it is a dislike but i didnt like the lack of outlets ,other then that i cant really think of anything else that would count as an actual dislike about the property.

The staff is phenomenal!!! It’s extremely clean, quiet, and safe. It was perfectly located for me and my baby. We could easily walk to visit her dad after his surgery. The restaurant inside the property is also very good.

I wish the rooms were equipped with a mini fridge and maybe a microwave- but a mini fridge definitely. It seemed slightly overpriced for no pool/hot tub/mini fridge.

Beautiful, clean and Windows that you can sligtly open!!! The resto next to it called ´David´ was very good. We could easily park in front of the hotel as it was durkng the week. Nice and quiet area

The breakfast was expensive so we went out to have breakfast somewere else. Hitel is not located in the centre but that was ok for us because we had a car

So clean! It was almost hard to believe anyone else had ever stayed there before. I am very picky… and I loved it! Peaceful location with beautiful view.

My husband didn’t want to eat at the attached restaurant or Bardavid. No other options nearby, so we walked to Leon’s BBQ at least a mile away. No vending machines, but we knew that and brought a cooler.

2nd stay in 3 weeks. Room rate quoted calling front desk awful. Bookinh.com/Priceline saved the day. UCMedicine required an overnight stay. Location on Campus UChicago adds to safety.. Might add that their in hotel restaurant is exceptional.

Front Desk pricing awful. No idea of availability or willingness to discount even their "hospital rates".
