Godfrey Hotel Chicago

Great location in the heart of the North Loop. Room was a clean, tastefully decorated and a good size, bed extremely comfortable.

Access to the rooftop bar for drinks was a joke. You had to pre-book your slot and pay in advance for drinks. You simply couldn’t just go for a drink as a resident which is strange. Restaurant on site was closed. However saying that you have a choice of bars and excellent restaurants within a few mins walk. Acknowledge the price of the hotel does include access to bar and restaurant so hard to access considering the above!!

I loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the efficiency of the staff. The ambience is beautiful. Bathroom was a decent size pretty standard. Staff was absolutely AMAZING!

The room was way to basic for the price per night. No fridge no microwave and yes there is a wine cooler but you should check to make sure it works. The paint was chipped only some of the lighting worked and the view was obstructed. Ice machine was broken and so was the elevator button to go to the rooftop in one of the two elevators they provide. Channels were basic no way to use streaming apps. Bed was ok. If you stay on floor 5 prepare to hear the music all night until 2 am pretty much shook the walls.

The size of the rooms were great! We were there for my bachelorette party. We stayed in separate rooms but could all fit comfortably when we wanted to be together before we went out.

The only downfall was the location. It was in the middle of the West Loop and shopping on Michigan Ave. It was easy to walk places but would have been more ideal if it was a little closer to things.

The staff was exceptional and friendly. They were attentive to help and answer my questions The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the location is excellent We used Divvy's from across the street to ride to the Cubs game (4-mile bike ride est 30 mins) We rode through many beautiful Chicago neighborhoods Such a Chicago experience! IO @ Godfrey is a must-do I went twice for dinner and brunch. I recommend steak and eggs which was my favorite meal. I will come again when I want to spend another weekend in the city.

Beautiful property. Great location. I arrived quite early and they let me check in about 5 hours early at that. I had planned to drop off my bags but I was so happy to be able to check in from a very early flight & hours of travel. Easy check out & very walkable location to some of downtowns best spots. Very high end feeling for a good price.

Loud guests but that is not the hotel’s fault. Comes with the territory.

Charges were made to my Debit card without warning and I have still not received my money back. Staff were unable to give any reason for the charges but gave assurance I would be refunded. I will be following this up if I do not receive the money

From the moment I arrived to my final good bye, was an experience in excellence. The front desk team were welcoming, accommodating and went above expectations. The room was modern and clean, the restaurant has great/fresh food and beverage and the service of all that served was awesome. I would highly recommend stay here and will be doing so myself on future visits.

The cost was a little out of step with other hotels on statue but, not a big issue.

the spa offered couples massages but we could not book one at any location. we also tried to book this ahead and it just did not work out. it was disappointing since that was part of the reason we booked this hotel

the room I was in was overall good but he shower recess needs work. Overall it would be good to have he restarurant on roof open for breakfasts. It is a great spot with great Chicago views. Chicago is a nice city and under rated in my opinion.

The godfrey was nice and clean. Very modern n the staff were great. I have no complaints n will stay there again the location in river north was close to everything. So many nice restaurants n bars for drinks. And Close to Michigan avenue. I recommend it highly.
